Why would that impact Mathews any more than Cantwell being the starting RT would...

Someday CIS will realize the truth, that side truly doesn't matter, especially when they start out in the program on one side specifically. If we get Mark Mathews, we tell him to compete at RT. It literally changes nothing. And it seems like staff is initially putting McCoy at RT. So the RT job is free in 27. Congdon, Mathews, Ervin, etc... They can all compete for it.

Lol JFC, it’s a joke brother. Well aware that sides don’t really matter, but thanks for the lesson!!!!!!

who do you anticipate will replace the Messidor Bain production?
We should view this like we should have with losing cam ward, no one will have the impact bain and mesidor had, you simply won’t replace two first round edges in one year, not just pass rushing, run defense is where we will miss them the most.

i still think we will have a top10-15 defense tho,but bain and mesidor was our superpower, the offense will be our superpower this year

Defensively the biggest question by far imo is Nickel rotation. I really wouldn't be surprised to see any of like 6 names earning heavy rotation at Nickel this season tbh. Then LB to see if Wiley or Bonner win jobs from Chase Smith. Toure is obviously starting. In general we know what the DLine rotation will be. We know what the Outside CBs will be. We mostly know what the safeties will be though that can be impaced depending if Poyser/Fitz/Thornton are primarily the nickel.

Offensively the biggest question by far is OT opposite Cantwell. From there I think the Guard slides into place as the "loser" of the OT competition (likely between Samson and McCoy). Maybe Meriweather ends up winning an OT job though... wouldn't be crazy I guess. I think most likely Meriweather is like the 6th man... I think Buchanan ends up winning a starting OG job (if Meriweather isn't starting OT cause then Samson+McCoy are both OGs). WR and RB is going to be an excellent competition, but we in general know mostly how it'll go. At RB fletcher is the primary. Pringle, Lyle, and Brown are competing for RB2 snaps. At Wr We know Toney and Barkate will probably get the most snaps. Jacobs is likely going to at least get Wr4 type snaps. I think the real competition is Josh Moore, Wingo, and Vaughn for Wr3 type snaps.
after seeing what the position did for keionte scott demari is insane to not wanting to play nickel ... personally i'd give it to dunnigan
