I don't have a problem at all saying that I'm back to being excited again. Doesn't absolve Diaz and returning staff from that **** show we all witnessed last year. However, when it comes to addressing this team's deficiencies, he has done everything I could have reasonably hoped for and more. Even if, like me, you won't trust Diaz until you start to see progress made on the field, if you're not at least excited to see what impact these legit upgrades have on this team then you're just looking for a reason to remain miserable, imo. I for one don't want to be; so I choose to hope for better days ahead..

I couldn't have said this any better.

Agreed. We’ve all said our peace regarding that shot storm of a season last year. With all the changes that were made we now have the opportunity to get back to practicing and fully erasing that nightmare from our memories. I’m excited to see how Lashlee, Justice, and Likens teach. Equally excited to see D’Eriq throw and watching Quincy/Gregg rushing as a formidable DE duo. Borregales kicking, the new frosh getting a chance to shine, etc. there are enough new pieces, and major upgrade in talent and coaching, that we all can find something potentially enjoyable about Spring ball. I can’t wait for the Spring game at the Rock - iron sharpens iron; the offense helping the defense get better and vice versa. It is only the Spring but it reigns eternal so let’s all see what these new look pieces are going to do.
