Spring Camp '16 | Episode 10: "Be Uncommon"

I remember when most of y'all hated the Banda hire. Rising star in this profession, just watch.

I dont recall a lot of Hate. There was some questioning it thats for sure. However, so far he has been proving himself. There was some questioning Fisch, but I felt like that was a good hire too. However, I do like what we are seeing from this staff as a whole though. Those Defensive coaches are savages. Between Kool, Banda, and Diaz we have some coaches that are willing to push your buttons.

I also could not help but notice how completely shredded up JRock is. Dang I sure hope these coaches find a defense that allows him to do his thing, he is a beast. I wonder if there will be a lot of nickel that leaves him in the box? Like a rover type, gotta believe he would be a serious playmaker in the run game if he was 8 yards back just stalking plays.....

Grace and Pinckney in the backfield.. Let's go!

"There you go Pinckney, yeeaahh"- Banda is fired up. I honestly didn't think Pinckney would make an impact this fast especially at his size but its good to see.

I think a lot of people were high on the possibility of Corey Raymond joining the staff at that time. Instead they got something very unexpected, separate CB and Safety coaches with both being inexperienced. I can see where that would be tough to immediately get excited about.

That "fail forward" crap has to stop.... the whole staff seems to have great energy

Love the fact that the coaches told Shaq that he sets the tone for the entire drill. Guy has been on campus for about 3 months and sounds like he's already turning into a leader. Stoked.

I still remember thte cheesy Alf line of "Unity beats Adversity". The players would get that mixed up and I remember Artie Burns saying once "Coach always says, Unity Beats Diversity". SMH

My God has this fan base taken some abuse with the awful coaches they have seen at Miami. That line may be the softest, gheyest catch phrase of them all.

:machinegun: "Don't rise to the occasion, fall back on your training"

Yes! I forgot that one - that one was the worst!

I remember hearing that live on the pregame and couldn't believe my f-ing ears. Knew we were doomed at that moment.

Is that what's gonna happen? They're going to get all chubbed up and start thinking about an FSU RB from 12 years ago?

lol, half the dummy scouts out there probably have no idea who greg Jones is.

If I had a body like J Rock....I digress. I'm not seeing all the bs they used to do in practice, like chasing each other on a circle etc. Focus is technique and execution. In the brief clips I see better technique from the oline and some indication of scheme changes. Critical and will make the OL much better. The better coaching in all phases/positions and increase in intensity will net more victories. I have no doubt of that!
