Makes you wonder what D1 Baseball apparently saw because I wanna say they were saying in one of their reports that supposedly our defense was gonna be good this year. They graded the defense a 60 which is considered above average.

Have to believe Ogden will be the starting SS, i.e. "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Reports out of fall and spring last year always put the defense in question and it ended up being a good fielding squad.

Think it ends up being a very good unit

They’ve been rotating Ogden and Sheehan pretty heavily between 2nd and SS, so it does seem to be on their minds still at least.

I wasn’t there today, and you get a few weird scrimmages every year, but I don’t think there have been particularly egregious defensive issues this pre-season in the grand scheme of things.

No, I know you were just giving your input, and I actually agree with it. From your original writing, it implied that you did not know that JD had said Bilka was the closer. That's why I replied that.
