D Ends will not be the challenge. The D Ends will be deeper (pause) and talented. Wilson will be a top 10 pick in this defense. For those who think this defense has any chance of falling off I recommend you go watch Minnesota when Heatherman was there. Top 5 defense with a group of guys at edge that wouldn’t crack the 4th team here.

This time last year everyone said the D Ends would be mid, some said Bain was unproven and just good and the majority said Mesidor was mid at best and this year Heatherman has four 5stars to work with lol.

Top 3-5 defense in the nation will be the norm every year Heatherman is on that sideline

Some of the takes on here were that Bain is a DT masquerading as a DE and not a top ten draft prospect, Mesidor was damaged goods and mid, Wes should be benched, Damari Brown sucks, it was even posters claiming Clemsons Dline was the undoubtedly best line in the ACC, safe to say the coaching staff we have is excellent at evaluating and putting guys in position to succeed. I expect another season of dominant defensive play.
