Spread offense..... every team except Miami

Nothing wrong with running a pro style offense. Im not married to the idea of a spread.

Richt just doesn't game plan and runs an antiquated scheme.

Too many explosive plays in the spread offense. We don’t need that. Power run game all day baby.

according to MORK his offense attracts recruits. He literally said that a few days ago that just shows how far he his from the game.

what do you want.he did get 2-3 offensive recruits in the early signing period.I think he's expecting a stampede of offensive transfers in February.

Some offenses manufacture more offensive productivity than others due to tempo/pace & play design.

The reason why the Spread would work better at Miami is because of our personnel, we don't have the kind of OL that's conducive for a Power run Pro style Offense. Even NFL Offenses use uptempo spread because of their personnel. When you have deficiencies on offense you don't continually try to force players to do things they can't do & struggle at, that's literally stupid.

When you have inaccurate QB's you simplify the offense with quick one read progressions, you shorten up the routes & don't force them to have to hold onto the ball with long developing routes, especially if they struggle reading coverages.

Every one of those INT's throw yesterday were coverage INT's because the Defense knew exactly where the ball was going before it was even snapped.

But you know what, I think people are still unconvinced so hopefully Richt continues to run the same offense & do the exact same things he's been doing while expecting different results. And you can bet money you'll see the same excuses continue to be made.

We consistently run homer into the backs of our OL like Hellen Keller looking for the bathroom.
Cause our oline doesn’t create any movement at all. Can’t maintain blocks and homer isn’t the type that can create he’s own tbh. He’s a one cut tough as **** runner. But he’s not like a duke or Mark Walton who can time to time create they own

Agreed. Barry Sanders himself would want to fight Mahoney and his lunch lady arms.

So you change your offense to fit your personel and strenghths

The pros are running the spread so you tell me why what a Richt is running is “pro style” and why you’re on board with it.

First off, I ain't on board with anything Richt is running.

And there are plenty of pro teams not running the spread. In fact, the majority do not, but that should have no bearing on what we do anyway.

I'm not opposed to running a spread. I'd love to see it come to UM. I'm just not going to dismiss a pro style offense or OC either. They both can be equally effective and explosive.

We don’t send anyone in motion even. I’m sure half the time our QB has no idea if it’s man or zone before the play....
