I don’t want to prove we are better than 4th til we can stay better than 4thThis is not outrageous. Now we need to prove we are better than 4th.

I believe Clemson no longer has lightning in a bottle. This is not outrageous. Now we need to prove we are better than 4th.
But put us behind a team we beat! I’m just saying. They put us above the conference champs. There is that.
We can call this the BJ effect for BC.I believe Clemson no longer has lightning in a bottle.
Wake Forest will likely underperform.
Going forward, Boston College should always be ranked last. In every sport.
I think we are 4th this year and should be able to exceed that consistently in the next few years.I don’t want to prove we are better than 4th til we can stay better than 4th
And ahead of MULTIPLE teams that beat us?But put us behind a team we beat! I’m just saying.
I think they are better, pre-season, than Clemson. They’re a legit threat to Clemson in the Atlantic.
They’ll never as a program prioritize athletics. Knowing what we do, they're a few years from being a forever doormat. It’s a little sad, but we finally got old Dougie boy back. Never **** with Miami!I believe Clemson no longer has lightning in a bottle.

There’s no everyone when Mario is involved. Only one team can win the ACC and they reside in coral gables FloridaIts the ACC. Every team in that list, including can and will be swapped around at some point in some way.
Trying to predict who is going to win the ACC this season is like trying to win at the lottery. Its a gamble and no one really knows. And Clemson, to me, has an anemic offense with a QB who has not played well at all.
Its up for grabs and everyone can win.
First year, I disagree. Second year, maybe. By the third year it should be in our hands safely once Marios classes start to come in.There’s no everyone when Mario is involved. Only one team can win the ACC and they reside in coral gables Florida
Ok we’ll revisit this conversation in NovemberFirst year, I disagree. Second year, maybe. By the third year it should be in our hands safely once Marios classes start to come in.
I have to say I am not as bullish on the early part of the era Mario simply because of the lack of talent in some positions. But its June, so its fairly early to make such statements.
Clemson was a playoff team last year if they got average quarterback play. It really depends on what happens at quarterback. They have other options besides DJ Ue…whatever his name is. We’ll see how they look once the season starts. Like I said, they’re the best team in the conference if a quarterback can step up for them. He doesn’t even have to be great, just decent.I think they are better, pre-season, than Clemson.
If our O-Line plays well enough, we certainly will do just that.Ok we’ll revisit this conversation in November
It will be interesting to see what Clemson can sustain. They had back to back great college quarterbacks. That is not sustainable. They had incredible coaching continuity, then they lost both coordinators at the same time. That was not sustainable. But they promoted from within, so maybe transitions are relatively smooth? And Dabo's streak of keeping guys committed ended. That was not sustainable. And Dabo doesn't want to play the portal or NIL games? Then I can't see how your program is sustainable, even over the next 2-3 years (unless you are a service academy).Clemson was a playoff team last year if they got average quarterback play. Clemson defense will be lights out, again. It will be interesting to see what Clemson can sustain. They had back to back great college quarterbacks. That is not sustainable. I'd have to look back at their schedule and results to figure out if they could have been a playoff team, but that is largely a function of your record in a power 5 conference. I understand that means you are in the tournament, but that does not mean you would really contend for a championship. Oklahoma and Notre Dame are examples. I tend to think Clemson's best days are now behind them. And I know that, while Watson was spectacular, that D line was fantastic. And they have not had that level of defense since.
