This whole coaching search is starting to remind me of that scene in the movie Lone Survivor when the Chinook with the calvary arrives (our excitement over the prospect of landing a Big Time coach) to rescue the 4 embattled Navy SEALS, battered and bloodied from fighting the Taliban on top of the hill (Golden's reign of Terror).
But, just when it appears things are going to be alright, along comes Flake James with a rocket propelled grenade (Schiano) to bring it all crashing down.

Butch need to just move on from Miami. There's alot of jobs available i think it's a smart idea to just take one, and if mark richt turns us down i think we should take a good look at gundy

romberg says a lot of false info was released yesterday to see who the leak is
Romberg doesn't want richt cuz he hasn't been around the program in forever
I do find it interesting that zas will still claim butch after all the "serious" richt stuff yesterday

bottom line..i fk'n hate UM coach searches

That's real....but we would have hired Chip a guy who was banned from the ncaa for a year & a half.....only at UM
 
Honestly it seem like they have just been wasting time giving serious thought to Wiston Moss and Jim Tressel.
MR getting fired might have saved them from having to explain what it is exactly that they have been doing all this time.

I have to believe Tressel was false info being leaked...that guy has left 2 teams on probation..how is he even an option

Chip is too alpha for our BOT. They used his name to give the search some legitimacy. Same with all the other name coaches.

Maybe...but you can never discount the inconpetence of of our administration.
 
To be honest..i don't want a squeaky clean coach..I hope he comes with baggage..preferably money in them..thats what wins today.
