so fsu gave up 322 yards to citadel..we gave up 113 yards to famu and yet you are still harping on the defense issue. i am not saying this is a top 20 defense but the improvement is definitely starting to show.

Wasn't our Defense ranked last year after our first 4 or 5 games?

Give it time. Hope we stay there but I'd be pretty surprised if we remain top 50 by seasons end. FAMU was terrible and LVille had a new QB, new system, missing one of their best RB's and one of the top WR in the country.

At least our offense was able to outscore a few teams last year to win games (until Duke went down)...

The upperclass of this team is not deep by any stretch of the imagination so if a freshman is better, play him. If some of these guys are going to be counted to be legit contributors NEXT YEAR, then burn the shirt and get them some real game time now. You can always recruit more...and you gotta admit the recruiting results have gotten better.
