Special Teams - Who gets the credit?

At the risk of interrupting the overreaction to our first half performance yesterday, just wanted to point out the much improved performance of our STs. All of the units have played well and are signficantly better. This is the best they’ve played in recent history.

Who gets the credit? Didn‘t we hire a former NFL coach as an analyst?

Marwan Maalouf… amazing what an actual coordinator with experience can do.

Malouf has been a head ST coach multiple times in the NFL. Pretty crazy he is here.

I know he’s technically an “analyst” but he is on the sideline with a headset on so he’s functioning as any other coach does in the games.

I'd say the most important guy is the strength guy Borregales has worked with. No bigger change than launching almost all kickoffs into the end zone.
