224 is linebacker size. So yeah, running a 5 is a concern. I know DE's aren't running 40 in a straight line but even still, its indicative of speed and burst off the line, and at 225, you're expected to at least be a rush end they can put some weight on. You want those guys running 4.8 or so at least.

We´re talking about high school juniors here, not fully grown adults who have trained for the NFL combine for months.

This kid is easily becoming one of my favorite Prospects, with arm like that and a 4.6 speed, man who could be dangerous. i was a little surprise by Walton 4.68 he looks faster on film but he has time to work on that.

Just remember most times given are usually hand times & not laser times. Most kids who say they're 4.4 are really 4.55. The kids who legitimately run 4.4's & below are fast as ****! What was Cooks?
