Southern Miss Depth Chart for Miami Game

If Parrish and knighton head to the draft(unlikely both leave I think) and we have chaney(?) citizen thad and whatever freshman we get I’m all for getting frank as a grad transfer. He’s a good player

They can't pass, so they will try to run the ball.

They completed 5 passes and only attempted 13.

Frank is draft eligible and he's long gone after this season. Hopefully far before Parrish and Knighton even consider it.

I noticed the same thing. No idea how well they move, but a great test for DL going into the matchup with tamu. We must get pressure and stuff the run on the DL. LB'ers plug the hole and get wide on sweeps. CB's stay tight to your man, recognize WR screens and wreck it. Nothing deep and come downhill with top speed.

Southern Miss avg’d 5 yards a carry against Liberty but also threw three picks on like 12 attempts.
We should be able to stack the box and dare them to throw.

I expect us to dog walk them, I think we cover impressively.
 
I wonder if Chase Smith will be the starting SLB on this week's defense in lieu of using Couch or Frierson as the Star.

Just need to see the New Miami Hurricane team dominate on both sides and all levels.
 
Another FIU/CMU level opponent. Will we dominate them or play down to their level. Stop the run and keep contain like we didn’t do last week and we win easily.
 
Why are people concerned about this game? Look at their box score last week. They don’t exactly thrive with the forward pass. Shouldn’t be super difficult to scheme up a run stopping D.

I mean hyperbole much there USA Today writer? Good grief. The sounds like any kid on any underdog team in America when told they're an four-touchdown underdog. Quit trying to make some "family ties" story here out of nothing.
How is this "swagger" as much as typical Generation Z overconfidence. What's Gore supposed to say?

"I'm scared to go back home to Miami, where I can lay and egg and prove that they were right to not offer me a scholarship. They're gonna wreck us. We shouldn't even lace 'em up."
