South Carolina is RUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 issues.

#1, on one hand, need good ratings to capitalize on ACC distributions. ( Plus it always helps to sell more tickets when you have a good home schedule)

#2, on the other hand, if SEC teams with 3 losses don't get in, then really no need to schedule more than one decent OOC game. Hopefully that continues.

In years we play ND, a ****** Big 12 team would be perfect. WVU or Kansas St. Not horrible for the TV match-up, but nice cupcake.

ACC should’ve just said 10 P4 games.
9 ACC games doesn’t even help our sos bc ACC teams suck. 10 P4 games means we can schedule OOC and play the same amount of P4 games but get better matchups

Dude, it takes two to tango. The other conferences don’t want to play. What don’t you understand about that?

Common sense says it’s Clemson or UVA that gets added. They’re the two we haven’t played in 2 or more years.

***Obviously dependent on bye weeks and making the schedule work

Once the SEC went to a nine conference schedule, ACC hand was forced, and theyhad to do the same thing. They did it first, and the idea was for the SEC to drastically reduce or eliminate scheduling teams like Miami out of conference.

You can criticize the ACC for a lot of things, this isn’t one of them.
This is what happens when you let the Stankey’s of the world control things.

What's even more terrible is the cascade effect this has on the program and the school. We played Notre Dame and Florida at home this year which generated more ticket revenue than we'd get in our conference. It also allowed us to run a 3 hour commercial for the school because gameday came into town.

Look at our home schedule the next few years.

2026: FAMU, Central Michigan, BC, FSU, Pitt, Va Tech
2027: Troy, Cal, GT, Louisville, UVA
2028: USF, Duke, FSU, Stanford, Va Tech

There's a very real possibility that we won't play a ranked team at home for the next 3 years.

We need to get out of this conference. Like tomorrow.

WTF is that chit meng?

Basura... It's basura...

Hopefully, we can replace them with someone decent. We already have 2 OOC cupcakes scheduled next year(Famu and C.Michigan) so it would kinda suck to play Notre Dame and three doormats. Then again, the Big Ten uses the strategy of having all of their top teams scheduling nobodies OOC so maybe everyone else should follow suit.

It will be an ACC opponent

Stankey’s a Tobacco Road honk, I can’t stand him, but once the SEC went to 9, the ACC did the same out of necessity, since they knew the SEC would be cancelling their OOC games (except possibly for a few long time rivalry games) and the scheduling needed to be supplemented with one additional game.
