South Carolina is RUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we go to the SEC or B1G within the next 2-3 years (or however long it takes), will a 9-game conference schedule along with a 10th game against a school from another power conference be a good thing or a bad thing?

Seriously, anyone know if ACC school has ND on schedule already, they part of the 9 ACC games? If ND counts, this game with USCe had to be canceled.
Dont come in here with common sense and logic. That goes against this threads narrative. Most porsters didnt even read the article which said BOTH schools agreed. There are going to be a few of these cause all the conferences going to 9+1 games

SEC won’t let any of their teams play us for the foreseeable future. Watch. Such a joke.

Re: Support

I'm a STH and fly down to multiple games a year.

Go back to the basement, and work on some new material.

Once the SEC went to a nine conference schedule, ACC hand was forced, and theyhad to do the same thing. They did it first, and the idea was for the SEC to drastically reduce or eliminate scheduling teams like Miami out of conference.

You can criticize the ACC for a lot of things, this isn’t one of them.
ACC should’ve just said 10 P4 games.
9 ACC games doesn’t even help our sos bc ACC teams suck. 10 P4 games means we can schedule OOC and play the same amount of P4 games but get better matchups

We did read that we just don't care. I don't see Rad throwing SC under the bus. Obviously SC has a better argument than we do. What is the difference if we replace USF with Wake or any other ACC team next year and replace UF with SC. Does our schedule get too difficult. It probably won't even be a top 40 schedule this year with UF, ND and USF when it's all said and done.

Next year's schedule blows! I'll fly down for FSU and across to ND. That's about it.
Same work with a couple ND fans and we’ve already talked about heading to that game… FSU is probably the only home game I’ll catch. If not maybe catch the UNC away game and get some golf in as well

Brick by brick we edge closer to minor league NFL

Nice. That ND game is going to require some planning for sure.

It's tough to complain with those two games, but hard to justify flying down for the rest of the slate.

UNC could be cool. Never been to CH... Hear it's a nice campus.

Yeah if this is what a normal schedule will look like going forward definitely will just start catching away games just to see different areas.

Yeah the my buddies have been to games before and kinda know the deal… I’ll probably be sitting with a bunch of ND green and gold while you see the one speckle of orange in the row haha

They aren't running from anything. Everyone is playing 10 P4 games starting next season. For USCe that is 9 conference games and keeping their cross conference rivalry game with Clemson. They didn't have a option, but to cancel. Any team with a cross conference rival like UF/FSU, UGA/GT is going to have to cancel any other out of conference P4 game.

What's even more terrible is the cascade effect this has on the program and the school. We played Notre Dame and Florida at home this year which generated more ticket revenue than we'd get in our conference. It also allowed us to run a 3 hour commercial for the school because gameday came into town.

Look at our home schedule the next few years.

2026: FAMU, Central Michigan, BC, FSU, Pitt, Va Tech
2027: Troy, Cal, GT, Louisville, UVA
2028: USF, Duke, FSU, Stanford, Va Tech

There's a very real possibility that we won't play a ranked team at home for the next 3 years.

We need to get out of this conference. Like tomorrow.
New home win streak incoming?
