Sounds Like Manny will pull Scholarships Offers

Sounds similar to what Saban or Dabo have in place. He said all current recruits are aware of new guidelines in place that he didn’t reveal. I say, about time!!! Put some value on a UM offer and Commitment.

Which is easy when you can pay them and their families in plain sight and get away with it. He was 7-6 his first year. When that's us the trolls claim kids don't want to play for such a team yet despite that record they sure Sas **** wanted to play for Saban. Hmmmh I wonder why? He ain't the magical recruiter so many of you think he is. My 91 year old grandmother could recruit as impressively given the same latitude of worry free cheating. Love or hate him Harbaugh spoke unshakeable truth when he said it's hard to beat the cheaters.

I guess you thought you were on the fsu board, because our Canes played well enough to win whereas fsu..well, just go back there!
 
This is about kids like Francois, committed, never visiting, giving interviews saying he really likes Ohio State and is planning on taking an OV there (after he already took an UOV in the spring). If they tell him he can commit, he's gone. (They didn't send him an offer on Aug. 1st.)

Kids that use Miami to drive up their price or get some bags from other schools. We all know how that goes.

Kids that silently commit but never "really" commit or go public and then go elsewhere at the last minute - We know a few of those too....


I really hope manny and the staff have a solid plan and stick to it. We may lose some kids locally but we'll find others OOS.

It's long overdue.

I've been saying this for years. Stop letting these kids come on campus 800 times throughout the year. Of course if they visit elsewhere after being on campus 700 times anything is going to look brand new and refreshing by the time December gets here.

Also put pressure on recruits to show their hand. What are we? Plan A or plan B. We also need to recruit more plan Bs for worse case situations and stop thinking that every kid who is currently committed will sign on signing day. We need to have more of a worse case scenario mentality because these kids know the game. These kids have been using Miami as a bargaining chip for years because we take what they/handler/HScoach/family say at face value. Stop thinking everything is in the bag. We need to have a kid on the next line in case the plan A on some BS. Stop with the all or nothing recruiting strategy.

Oh and please go back to offering more kids. The limited sent offers plan don't work. (ie: Shatfield) Dude begged for a offer and we gave it to him only for him to give us the middle finger and go to UF then start talking sh*t afterwards. We need to cast wide nets north, south, east, west. We also need to make sure we don't visit some uncommitted out of state kid 50 times only to come up empty handed. Treat it like a date, if we can't get a clear indicator by home visit #2 dial the recruiting back to just phone calls because that Richt Jr. situation was a waste of resources and visits.

We've only won 10 games once since 03', and only won one bowl game since 04'...that's why.
