What do you do when your offense is average at best, with a bad OL, your defense is above average, and you have a good punter???
Play sound football, no turnovers, penalties, minimize negative plays, be patient, punt the ball, play field position, and make the other team beat you..
Its what ACC opponents have been doing against us for years now, just sit back and watch us implode.. Last night we turned the tables on an ultraconservative team in Virginia who love to sit back and do this..
If we hit a couple of those early big plays, last night its a much easier game, because it forces Virginia to force the issue and chains start coming out, but it didnt happen so stay sound, minimize mistakes and play field position until you find an identity, we'd be 6-0 if we played like this from the get go, it took our coaches some hard lessons to start adjustong, lets see if we can continue to be a sound football team at the minimum.
