I am surprised at Max's stats. He has been a star on the camp circuit for years already. Looks like another guy that can pass the eyeball test at camps, but not on game day.
He’s Sitkowski, the 2nd. I seriously, SERIOUSLY question this staff’s eval of QB’s.
As of matter of fact, I’m looking at MJJ stats right now; u all remember, right? The can’t miss QB prospect that Jon Richt spent company time & money to failingly recruit.
So far, dude is 38/73 passing for 792 yrds. He’s avg. 158.4 passing yards per game.
So dude is completing 52% of his passes, but dude only avg 10 passing attempts/pg! This is against very weak competition.
So I don’t know what this staff is thinking, and when I say staff I’m talking about the Richt Family. They can’t think they are QB whisperers b/c far & wide they have been nothing short of a dumpster fire, starting w Kaaya.
After Kaaya’s Sophomore year, many draft experts had him going NO LESS than the 2nd round....one yr under Richt and his draft stock plummeted.
Rosier is fundamentally unsound, and had become progressively worst in this his 3rd yr under this system.
Perry is so discombobulated that he can’t tell if he’s a QB for our team or the other team.
Weldon has decided to take a leave of absence for medicinal purposes.
Our only hope is Williams, who is probably ready, but Jon is trying to correct his footwork, since he knows a thing or two about quarterbacking apparently, which will f up his natural mechanics and thus be a wasted commodity.
