Hard to see how Venables survives past this season...
Unless he only wins like five games or less, I don’t see him getting fired. But I guess that’s just me.

I think these are based on his previous contract. He just got the new extension in August and I don't believe it's been approved or buyouts finalized.
Fair to say that Meesheegahn beat the **** out of OU?
@JamesQuall @PIPO @WaterburyCane
That's right, I said it and YOU WILL DO NOTHING!

Your not seeing what I'm saying. If the big 12 had six teams who deserved to be ranked than yeah they should be. They don't so that's not relevant. But that's the point exactly. You don't give a team a ranking simply because of the conference they're in. For instance Tulsa manhandled Oklahoma State last week. Made em look like dog food. Now Oklahoma State was the second team this season made Oregon look like dog food. But oregon is #2 or whatever they were. Tulsa isn't ranked,Oklahoma State coming into this week wasn't ranked, Boise wasn't ranked... If they were in the sec or the big 10 you can bet your *** they would be. But teams are in the big 12, the acc, independents and those teams don't help sec sponsors,TV deals etc. so you won't hear all the hype for them. Cause the teams we beat up on in the media eyes they want the country looking down on. So if that playoff ranking is on the line it'll be Miami played 8 schools that aren't ranked in such and such, weak strength of schedule, so clearly not battle tested. But Alabama and their 3 losses played an sec powerhouse schedule with 8 ranked teams so them with three losses are more appealing then a 1 loss or two loss school from other conferences. It's a rigged system.I get what you're saying but does the current Big 12 have 6 of the best teams in the country? Each P4 would have 6 teams if it was equal. This board keeps saying how bad the ACC is and Miami has to get out or the program is dead. If the Big12 and ACC don't each have 6 of the top 25 where are they going to come from? So the Big10 has 7 and SEC has 9. It's not some giant conspiracy a conf. has a few less or a few more than 6.
If OR WA USC TX OU and A&M were in their rightful conf. the SEC and Big10 wouldn't have more than their fair share but they took the best teams out of the Big12/PAC10.
Send these schools back where they belong. 16 team playoff. P4 with 8 divisions 4 conf. champions. TV Rev. share between the conf. no selection comm. Solves 99% of the problems.
My brother, you have expressed this as it should be. These c**ts have rigged the system, before the season starts. Preseason polls are complete Horses**t Lets start the play, make some decisions and put out a poll. Do you think Oregon would be in the Top 10 after week one, never mind week 2.Your not seeing what I'm saying. If the big 12 had six teams who deserved to be ranked than yeah they should be. Hope your wrong. It bit the committee in the *** last year with 3 loss alabama. Hopefully they learned.Of course they will. You act like you don't understand the narrative at play and you do. There's a reason Missouri Oklahoma Tennessee all these teams get ranked it's not some mysterious thing. It's done clear as day so they can turn around when the playoff rankings come out and say look how many ranked teams we play. Doesn't matter if they're all trash that had no business being there they're going to put them there and stupid *** folders and stupid *** fans are going to fall for it regardless

It's not a guess. It's what they do and the reason for it. That's what happens when this is all driven by the media and media conglomerates own the big 10 & sec... Didn't just start last year either.Hope your wrong. It bit the committee in the *** last year with 3 loss alabama. Hopefully they learned.
You're exactly right. I mean.. ESPN has the rights to the rankings reveal show because it allows them to set the narrative.It's not a guess. It's what they do and the reason for it. It's even deeper than that. Who owns ESPN? Who owns ABC? Who owns **** TONS of newspapers? That would be disney and it's subsidiaries... So if disney owns all that **** and that's the **** that decides the polls, that decides playoff rankings who the **** is stupid enough to think it'll be an even playing field... They got everybody fooled cause no one wants to take the time to realize **** near everything in life is rigged a certain way.You're exactly right. I mean.. ESPN has the rights to the rankings reveal show because it allows them to set the narrative.
