Sony getting the full court press

Why not keep trying in case UGA totally implodes? Its clear as day that he is making sure his bro gets in before making anything official with them. I bet this is even a little "power play" on his part to UGA. Kinda like a "Dont F with me. I will decommit on that a$$ if you ***** my brother". If the bro enrolls in Jan... Lock the back door, its over. But if something happens to where "admissions made a boo boo" and he doesnt get in, things could get very interesting. PLUS you gotta know Mike Rumph is in his ear everyday about the U.
Brothers coming in as a preferred walk on. Have no fear, he'll have the money to pay out of state tuition.
There are plenty of UM guys in his ear. However, we're not crossing the line..... i think.....
Bo Scarbrough flipping from Bama to UGA would be the "sign" everyones looking for. The only thing that can stop UGA, is fear of the NCAA. The football world knows what happened. This is one that they might want to walk away from. If they do, we have a legit shot. Time will tell.

I am happy with Joe Yearby. I think he's the best RB in the class and am thrilled that he will be a Hurricane. As far as Magic Chef is concerned, it doesn't hurt to continue recruiting him. You play the game until the referee holds the ball over his head.

What does "the football world know what happens" mean?

Just don't understand why he has to "help" his brother get into UGA??? His brother is already at UMASS and by looking at his stats it appears its very tough for him to get on the field or he's not making the most of his opportunity. Secondly, UGA recruits really good WR's so if he's having trouble getting PT @ UMASS then how's he getting on the field at UGA.

I would want my brother to be somewhere he can actually have a chance. I admire and applaud him for trying to help his bro, but one poster said it above. If he's not getting a scholly then how's he going to afford the out of state tuition???

His brother isn't on the UMASS team. He was last year. He is down here now taking classes at a community college.

I meant to say was @ UMASS. My bad

Guess we're not part of the football world or were absent went the memo went out. Can someone please explain to us what happened with Sony's recruitment to UGA that their "fear of the NCAA" might compel them "to walk away" from Sony? And Boarcane could you please elaborate on the "sign" that everyone is looking for? And who is the "everyone" that you refer to? Are they people close to Sony who are in the know or was what you imply discussed here or elsewhere?

Is it confirmed Sony is an EE?

Please say yes. I just want this to be over with sooner than later.

In a perfect world, Sony, Yearby and Cook will all be EE wherever they end up so we can move on to National Signing Day knowing.

agreed we shouldn't talk bad about the kid. Making it even harder on Golden and the coaches recruiting him... I wish we wouldn't talk about him at all unless he started showing more interest.

that's BS. every school that is a legit finalist bashes a kid for going elsewhere. its human nature and helps one cope... we're not the only fanbase bashing him for the initial shun...

He could afford tuition with grants or loans the school can provide.

Dalvin Cook aint going anywhere but to Florida.... they didnt pay him anything b/c if they did his brother wouldnt be trying to push him to Miami.

Sony Michel is paid for by UGa

Regardless the position they play, running back, is already taken care of so it really shouldnt matter where they end up.... and if it's not Miami, going to Florida and UGa is perfect.

Saw this on espn board

On the year, Nick Chubb has 200 carries, ran for 2,149 yds, & rushed for 33 TDs! Avg 10.75 yds per carry

These are his stats through 8 GAMES!

Chubb, if you've not heard, is the other RB committed to Georgia.

cool story bro, now back to stuff that actually matters

That matters, "bro" because this might be another reason Sony is looking harder at UM. This Chubb is a beast.

Maybe the competition thing has more to it.

We lose Yearby or something?
