I was actually thinking about this earlier today. Pretty much everything you hear right now as far as coaches on the hot seat or programs in disarray revolves around Michigan for the most part, and even schools like Alabama claiming that their dynasty is over. There is never any mention about the state of the Miami program. I think the past few years of us getting blown out in every prime time game made people think that we are irrelevant as a program and that we don't deserve any attention. I really don't blame anyone for thinking that way because it's true. We barely compete with mid-level successful programs, and get **** canned by good teams. The only part I don't understand is why there has constantly been focus on the Michigan program the past few years. They really haven't done much under Hoke since his first year, yet they get constant attention for being mediocre. I think it really shows how far Miami has fallen off the map in the eyes of the college football world.

They know Shalala, James, and some dipshlt fans are perfectly content with Al Golden. They hope he stays. The last thing college football wants is Butch getting the band back together to kick the **** out of teams and rub their noses in it.

They fear the day will return when Miami goes into towns and kicks teams' asses while helicopter dlcking in the endzone. They LOVE this current Miami program.

I was going to post the same thing. We must be really irrelevant because the only people that feel Golden deserve the hot seat are fans, alumni and former players. The media couldn't care less. I typed "Al Golden hot seat" in Google and the only stuff that came up was about Hoke and some about Muschamp.

Its because the mainstream media hasn't picked up on how much our fans, alumni, boosters, etc hate the defense we are running and how its killing us. This **** for the longest time was only a internet/canes message board thing, that only recently got picked up locally (herald, radio, etc). All they see is that Golden has improved the win total every year and had us ranked 7th last season. They think he's doing a good job lol.

Boy what id do to see a little hellicopter ****ing in the endzone lmao

People are saying Georgia Tech is for real now. That they played the perfect game chipping away and keeping Miami's speed off of the field.
What are people saying about Miami? Check out their safety body slam the punter.

if we were irrelevant.. espn wouldn't have given us that many primetime games this year.

Exactly the problem with these other coaches is they have lost many games that the program could no justify as loses and they also didnt have to go into ncaa sanctions... This staff hasnt lost and games they were suppose to win...
