Mario told Saban the other day that he built his teams after his blueprint and said "mass kicks ***"

I remember earlier in the season when being interviewed about his offense Lane Kiffin said he spent a career around Monte, Carroll, and Saban and designed his offense around what drove those guys defenses crazy.

I expect our D to struggle in this game. Its the type of offense that got Saban a few times with Manziel, Gus, and Hugh Freeze.

We need our offense to be turnover free and have a good day.

We don't run anything near what Saban ran on defense. Our scheme is vastly different

Hard to struggle with an offense when said offense is watching from the sideline. Our gameplan should be to run as much as possible and reduce the amount of possessions. Our lines play like they have been and we play turnover free, disciplined football like we have been and I have a hard time seeing us lose.

Need to get their offense off of the field early. Our offense should take its time taking it to these guys. Give the D plenty of time to get a breather. Go back out there after a score and shut them down again. Nothing would be worse for our offense than quick strikes unless it’s a blowout. Don’t want a shootout.

I can see a game plan where we surrender yardage to get Bain and Mesidor rest. Then when they get to the 30, those guys get reinserted and put the clamps on. If they are forced to kick field goals they are toast.

I think you need to look deeper into the games you are mentioning... like yes any QB can get a hot hand and will the team to win. However those teams beating Bama were the exception not the rule. How many times would Saban beat Gus and Hugh? More often than not but you remember the losses because they were shocking.

The A&M Manziel/Bama game people forget A&M went up 20-0 in the FIRST QUARTER. Bama's drives that first quarter? 3 plays, 2 yards - punt, 4 plays 20 yards - INT, 3 plays 1 yard - Punt Bama also lost a fumble and had another INT in the second half. Hard to win like that. Lost the turnover battle by 3, Manziel played out of his mind and had a crazy fluke play/run on 4th down, and they still only won by 5 at 29-24...So I agree with the latter, offense has to be turnover free and have a decent day,
