Something Positive

Saw Jimmy Graham doing some things too

He still celebrates every 5 yard catch like he won the Super Bowl but that’s ok

Herndon was a steal for the Jets.

Could’ve been a 1st or 2nd rounder easily.

This has been the problem w a lot of our players.

Here’s the TEs drafted b4 Herndon:

-Hayden Hurst (1st round)
11 rec 120 yrds 1 TD Long of 22

-Mike Gesicki (2nd Round)
21 rec 184 yrds 0 TD Long of 27

-Dallas Goedert (2nd Round)
30 rec 307 yrds 4 TDs Long of 32

-Mark Andrews (3rd Round)
30 rec 498 yrds 3 TDs Long of 74

-Jordan Akins (3rd Round)
17 rec 225 yrds 0 TD Long of 28

-Ian Thomas (4th Round)
27 rec 225 yrds 0 TD

-Chris Herndon (4th Round)
32 rec 413 yrds 3 TDs Long of 32

Herndon is out performing every TE drafted ahead of him sans Mark Andrews. Smh.

Herndon is head and shoulders above everyone of those guys except Goedert and Andrews. And he’s comparable to both. Think he would thrive if he was in either of their situations instead of the one he’s in

Think he would have gone a lot higher if he hadn't injured his knee in his final game here.

Agreed. He’s a fantastic player. Him and njoku on the field together was a nightmare for other teams. Imagine if David and brad stayed another year. We may have even beat Pitt......

Excellent post. I remember seeing a video of Gesicki in the rookie camp I thought he’s going to be a bust. He was so slow on his release and had the physicality of our very own L. Cager.

Any top end speed he had would be neutralized by being physical with him at the line. And of course that’s exactly what nfl dbs and lbs did.

Can’t believe these guys get millions of dollars for this. Other than minkah Fitzpatrick and drake the last two fins drafts have been a disaster. Ballage came on late this year but we’ll see.

So happy the Phins drafted Gesicki. Solid draft move.......Miami football at its finest.
