Something i cant get over

old canes teams were like a family. When deejay came to the sidelines hurt, fell to the ground in pain, we had a couple defensive players sitting right there, they just looked over. no one got up, no one asked if he was ok. something was just off with this team the other night.

I noticed that. Also when Rosier got knocked down and his shoulder pad was hanging out of his jersey, not one player helped him put it back. He even ran the next play with his pad outside his Jersey. I really hope this is not a fractured locker room.

They’re done with Malik , the players have already psychologically checked out with him.

I’m scared they’re about to do the same with Mark.

RIcht is smarter than Folden. I see a QB change coming. Fingers crossed one of the young guns makes it an easy decision. We don't want a QB carousel either.
 
I thought the same when DJ went down. I noticed that, believe the ref fixed his jersey. Even when #12 scored (didn't matter) no one gave a ****.

The positive thing here is that there's a short-term (at the very least) fix for this - need to give the team a new QB to get behind. Malik's play is sucking the energy out of the program.

The only way I would accept this as being true is if the players know there is someone better behind Malik that should be playing and Richt for some reason wont play him. Whether it be Perry, Weldon or Williams.

If their isn't a better option then they need to STFU, man up, and play for the person who is the best option. Nobody gets a pass after that a$$ kicking. We can blame Malik all we want but yall need to go venture into that breakdown that Lance Roffers did in the other thread and you will realize we have ALOT of players on this team that don't belong.

That said, Shaq pops alluded in 2 different threads that he wishes the coaches would play the best 22 guys so that leads me to believe there are guys starting that shouldn't be and not just Malik either.

Well starters have said how Weldon is a ***** to defend on scout team, no defender has ever uttered those words about Maweak. In his life.

Everybody is your brother until the rent is due. Its hard to be family when you are getting your a$$ kicked the first game of the season. When FSU in 1997 beat us 47-0 and infamously threw Scott Covington into the goal post we didn't have players lined up to help him up either. That's just the way it is. When we start winning again, they will be thick as thieves.
 
Ironic, flash back to Morris. Dude was the most look at me qb I've ever seen. Teammates trying to celebrate with him and he blew them off. Consistently. If the team ain't got the qb's back and vice versa then team is divided.

Haven't watched back the tape since I was at the game but this sounds incredibly concerning to me.

Lol just edited it...alright I’ll go back and look. I would have had an issue if you said against USF in 2013. Teammates were jumping on him and he got ****ed after taking a shot and hurting his ankle again.

These kids know football, and they know Malik isn't the guy, which also tells us maybe Perry and them ain't that bad. If Malik truly was the best option I think they'd be a little more supportive of the dude. They desperately want a change bc they know there are superior options are available.
 
They're more than sick of his sh*t. They see his bull**** throws every day in practice. We as fans only see them during games and look how hot we are. LOLOLOL He needs to go.

Wait wait wait, you mean the same Weldon that was a turnover machine in the last two scrimmages? So basically Weldon can play at anytime except when the lights come on?

I don't want Malik either, but at some point in time, during game like situations you have to perform to have a chance.
