Someone temper my expectations

We haven't played 1 power 5 team. everyone needs to calm down. Lets see how we look vs GT first. need to be able to do what Clemson did to them. FSU game is always a toss up because of the emotion behind it. They could look like dog crap then have the stars align for us, you never know. We can do very well this year just have to see if our team can handle it mentally. See what they do when they are down or get smacked in the mouth, that hasn't happened yet.

Just don't see how they would want nd to win that game specifically and they wouldn't matter in any other game supposedly.

GT actually is a game we should be concerned about. They are coming off a loss and are looking to correct their mistakes at home....and we have 3 true frosh at LB. You just never know.

Outside of that....

- I am 100& certain we beat FSU. its a rivalry game and they are due...and we want it more than they do. our effort will be better.

- VT is a game that concerns me. I believe they can beat us. If we lose to them...there's nothing to complain about. we have no depth and we are young at key positions.

- I thought ND would be a tough game, but Dook is winning at half time...how good are they really? still, its a mental hurdle our team (and our fans) need to clear. I still remember 2012...I was in the stands that day and it was miserable.

- UNC is a game we should win. but again...you never know. show me Brother Richt. Make me a believer. There's no reason we can't beat these teams.

The point of this thread was not talking about how good WE are but it is about how BAD our OPPONENTS are

I understand we haven't played anyone but common sense tells us that we should be favored in most games coming up outside of fsu

It's not our fault we haven't played anyone yet.

They played lamar jackson an all time great already so that loss could be anybody at this point. Fsu we can win but dont know if we will yet but we will see. We gotfa stop cook to have a chance.

How is Lamar Jackson an all time great? Guy hasn't played one good defense. Lets see how he does against a legit D in Clemson

agreed. lamar Jackson is the real deal
but that fsu performance looks much worse today after seeing USF throw up 35 points and 300 rushing yards against that same D
 
I am not worried until the last game of the season against Bama, but I think the 400 ex and current NFL Canes on the sideline we give us the edge we need to crush their little heads. Okay, I might be the wrong guy to temper anyone.
 
Some of you guys got to relax, we played three cupcakes and handled business like we were suppose to do. Now the real season has started. An which Canes team will show up? Only time will tell. An I think some of you are also still in the honey moon stage. Once we lose a game I would like so see some reactions an expectations come back down to reality.

He has never played against a Miami Hurricane defense and no idea what is coming(Al is gone). He will finish the game on the sideline asking when the 220 starts.
