We are talking about the program as a whole. Recruiting, budget, facility, etc. We have the highest paid coach in the Coastal. We have the best recruiting ground, etc etc.

The point is not that it is easier for UAB to win their division than it is for Miami to become the most dominant program in college football again. It is that it is easier for Miami to win the Coastal than it would be for UAB to win their division. That is a fact.

Maybe try the TCU board. They've seen Gary Patterson alternate double digit win seasons with six win seasons the last 4 years. They may have some thoughts on UAB's resurrection. Expand your search. Find those answers.

First off, I would LOVE to have TCU, MSU, Wisc, Auburn, and Stanford type successes over the last 8 yrs.

Stanford: Winning 5 division titles, 3 conference titles, playing in five NY6 bowls?? Sign me.

Yeah, they may be ****ed off b/c they expect to yield those same results every year, BUT I highly doubt they are saying how could UAB win their conference in only 2 years after being dead as program. GTFOH.

That is not how this works. That is like saying Alabama is not back from the dead because they have yet to win a superbowl. It is impossible for UAB to win their resources to win a national championship.

Now UAB has similar resources to the other C-USA schools. Miami has far greater resources than the rest of the coastal. That is why it is easier to win the coastal than to win their division and they won the whole conference.

Facilities have been terrible (sound familiar). They play in a stadium (Legion field) that would make the OB look like Jerry's World. But now they are putting money in the program, upgrading facilities (sound familiar) and last week broke ground on a new stadium (off campus) that should be ready in 2020/2021. They have a small fan base because pretty much everyone is either a bama or auburn fan (sound familiar). Despite all of that and the program being shut down all they are doing is winning.

Well as I’m watching this game, it finally dawned on me that UAB is in this game. The same UAB team that shut down their entire football program a couple of yrs ago.

HOW IN THE **** DOES A FOOTBALL TEAM WIN 11 GAMES, THEIR DIVISION, THEIR CONFERENCE, THEIR BOWL GAME IN TWO YEARS AFTER REINSTATING FOOTBALL, BUT WE CANT WIN 9 GAMES WITH THE BEST TEAM IN OUR DIVISION?!??!

Don’t you need time to build up a team? These mofos wasn’t PLAYING football, program SHUT THE **** DOWN, and in TWO YEARS, they’re winning 11 games and a Conference??! How, Sway?!

ACC absolutely hates the U! Just watch the games.
Refs have it out for us and its blatantly obvious. Yet all the vaginas around here want to cry about the head coach. I don't care who the head coach is. It's an uphill battle every single week with the officiating the way it is. Sure it was a tough year but the officiating probably cost us 2 or 3 games this season. Turning a rough season into a miserable one.

From 2005-2013 (the year before Clark arrived) the highest finish UAB had in conference was tied for fourth and never had a winning season during that time. Heck he took over a team that had gone 2-10 the year before and had them at 6-6 his first year. Here is the record before Bill Clark.

2006: 3-9
2007: 2-10
2008: 4-8
2009: 5-7
2010: 4-8
2011: 3-9
2012: 3-9
2013: 2-10

Total: 31-76 (28.97%)

Since Bill Clark arrived:
