Someone Help Me With This

I imagine there is a post like this on the Auburn board too? The Wisconsin one. The Stanford one. The Michigan State board. All programs that were preseason top 15 that fell way below expectations. Did Chryst, Shaw, Dantonio and Malzahn all go senile too? An investigation is needed.

No; that’s not my answer. They shut down their football program, and they’ve been in Conference USA since 1999, so this chit doesn’t hold weight. Try again. But I can tell you since they got a new AD, they’ve been coming up in all sports.
I wasn’t turning anything. Just forgot what con they were in. Which to my point, make them and comp they beat irrelevant... if we hire a new a AD by next year well beat Clemson?

No, but do you think UABs resources are equal to Miamis? It is significantly harder to briang a program like UAB back from the dead and win their division than it is to take a school like Miami and win the Coastal.
Back from the dead..bro UAB could win that con for 3 years straight they’d still be in the dead..but crazy..and if we are being honest Miami has been dead since 02..so no bro it’s not “significantly harder” to bring back UAB than it is to overcome 15 years of BS..just a year we were in our own nationally respected con championship game

Naw; not next year. But hiring an AD that’s passionate about sports helps a rebuild process quicker.

I don’t think the our AD not being passionate about sports is the problem tbh..I actually think that’s the furtherst thing that needs to be harped on..I get the argument t tho. Fans aren’t happy after this year now y’all want heads rolling. Starting with the top guys

Fellas, I just got through watching the Boca Raton Bowl (nothing else to do).

Well as I’m watching this game, it finally dawned on me that UAB is in this game. The same UAB team that shut down their entire football program a couple of yrs ago.

Then I saw their final record to end the season. So please gentlemen, help me w this:

HOW IN THE **** DOES A FOOTBALL TEAM WIN 11 GAMES, THEIR DIVISION, THEIR CONFERENCE, THEIR BOWL GAME IN TWO YEARS AFTER REINSTATING FOOTBALL, BUT WE CANT WIN 9 GAMES WITH THE BEST TEAM IN OUR DIVISION?!??!

Don’t you need time to build up a team? These mofos wasn’t PLAYING football, program SHUT THE **** DOWN, and in TWO YEARS, they’re winning 11 games and a Conference??! How, Sway?!
Relly ... after reading your post Bro .... all i kept thinking was --- MIAMI LOST TO DOOK !

Festivus for the rest of us!!!

@Rellyrell
right now the Alabama program is the standard of success in college football.
here is how they got there. everyone associated with football (admin, AD, coaching staff, players, boosters, etc.) all have
the SAME VISION . they all talk about, work hard, stay totally committed and focused on doing all the right things TO WIN
CHAMPIONSHIPS.
compare that to what's going on in Coral Gables. do we see the same thing that's been going on in Bama ?
we don't hear anyone talking about and sure as **** don't see any evidence that there is a focus and commitment to WINNING
CHAMPIONSHIPS.
there is your answer.

U can’t be serious? Just like a GM is important to the health of a professional team, an AD is important to the health of a college program.

What u fail to realize is that James has been w us since 2010 working and learning under Hocutt & Eichorst (two of our worst ADs in the modern era) in this capacity. Dude has always been on the sales side of things, whether that was mid 90’s w/ us, late 90’s w us, or when he came back in 2010. He’s good at getting donations, nothing more, nothing less.

Exxxxxactly!

U got ADs and coaches making up excuses as to y we didn’t win games and worst yet, handing out moral victories and this has been for a minute. That’s y we don’t see anything change here.

Oh, and we got fans making excuses right along w them. Hence, no pressure. I got this young dude tryna tell me Blake is not our problem b/c ADs don’t really matter. This is the type of bull chit that we have here.

I don’t know when some of these ninjas became pu$$ie$ justifying chit, but these ain’t the bros I remember. It’s still a lot out there, like yourself, but this PC world got some of my fam shook as fck.

There’s no way a literally dead program should be winning its conference in 2 yrs, and we as a blue blood program struggling against guys who will have futures as Priest, CPAs, and Handimen. Idgaf is UAB played in Conference Twerk Somethin, they won their conference after being DEAD in two yrs!

That is not how this works. That is like saying Alabama is not back from the dead because they have yet to win a superbowl. It is impossible for UAB to win their resources to win a national championship.

Now UAB has similar resources to the other C-USA schools. Miami has far greater resources than the rest of the coastal. That is why it is easier to win the coastal than to win their division and they won the whole conference.

I said it on here a couple months ago...Bill Clark should be the next Canes coach, but some on here claim they don't want a "high school" coach. The man is a winner plain and simple.

Lmao a GM of pro sports TEAM is not the equivalent to a AD who over sees sports TEAMS..can u name Alabama’s AD who was hired in 17’ Or Clemson’s?. Everyone know Blake James has been around since 2010 that’s not breaking news..the same AD that had us ranked 2nd in the playoff ranking a year ago..bro wtf are we arguing about the AD😂😂..like I said I get the argument. It’s a classic American argument. Y’all want the top dawgs heads to roll after a 8-5 year

Far better resources?? Are we talking facitilies? The football budget?..the only advantage miami clearly has is its location as far as recruiting. Which is huge..but my point was simply that it’s clearly not easier to get Miami back to where it wants to be than it was to get UAB to where it is now...this is a useless and tiresome argument..u can have this win lol
