Here's a name for you for head coach and OC. Pep Hamilton, former Stanford OC and now OC For Colts. Proven success, private school background, one of the best OC in pro ball and would be huge influence on recruiting trail.

Turned down Oregon and Vandy to stay in the NFL. No chance.

Al Golden will be here for long time because UM can not nor will not pay the $15 million buyout, the best the admin could do is usurp golden and fire D'onofrio and hire their own DC ( I am thinking Dave Aranda for $600K for 3 yrs) and hire Ken Dorsey as OC for $500k. UM would then have a massive infusion of X and O proficiency. UM could also get rid of Franklin and higher Kevin Patrick for $130k since he is only making $90k now at north texas to coach the dline. Also UM could get rid of Paul Williams then move Hurlie Brown to his natural position of DB Coach, with Aranda coaching LB's. An all these moves drastically improve UM's coaching staff literally over night and within a budget UM can afford, while removing the Temple flavor but leaving AL to be more of a CEO to our team.

Annoint ken dosey as CEO? That is aggressive and blind. The best approach if direct firing is not possible, is to fire his coaches and then get him to resign later.

The reason Butch was forced to leave is because UM at the last minute of the last hour stood firm that the bulk of the buyout was coming out of Butch's part, and none of Miami's.

So if Miami did the same to Goldlen - then there is no buyout on the part of Miami.

Even if there's a 50/50 buyout agreement, which is what Butch wanted, that's only half of his remaining contract.

Very doable.

He has no source. He has quite an imagination. The chances of the things he said actually happening are zero.

Hamilton is widely criticized as the OC of the Colts for failing to adapt his offense to his personnel. He stubbornly wants their offense to be power-run oriented, which often causes them to fall way behind and reliant on Luck bailing them out with miraculous come-from-behind victory attempts.

If you suggested wanting Hamilton to be Golden's successor at UM to Colts fans, they'd rejoice at the thought of him leaving Indianapolis while laughing in your face.

I think Chudzinksi would be a great hire. NFL experience as a coordinator and HC, played here, knows the expectations, and knows the area for recruiting.

I bet he wouldn't waste the talent we have on the offensive side of the ball.

Why bother when he's living inside his own canes snow globe world.

Miami already fired Randy Shannon because he was black. What makes you think the racist scUM fanbase would tolerate another ***** coach?

Yeah but he coached at Stanford, so he's automatically awesome. Ask Vanderbilt fan if that Stanford tree always produces bountiful fruit.

This is hilarious. One of the best OC's in pro ball? One of the most uninformed statements I have ever read and that is saying something. You do realize this guy gets thumped by Colts fans and radio personalities all the time. Most Colt's fans want him gone. Success at Stanford may have had something to do with having Luck run the show. Come on guys lets not just do wiki searches and start naming coaches.
