This is going straight off of media pieces passed around. It's obvious they didn't breakdown new rosters. When it comes to Miami, they are trying to go outside the box. They do have several things correct, but it wasn't because of research effort. Grabbing a few media talking points on each team is not a deep dive. It's lazy, but it beat the deadline.

We won three close games in the playoff when it mattered most and this brain surgeon is still trying to traffic the ‘Mario folds in tight games’ narrative

Miami has developed a habit of dropping one or two games it simply shouldn't, and those slip-ups have kept it out of Charlotte. The numbers back it up: the Hurricanes are just 1-4 in their last five ACC games decided by eight points or fewer, after going 5-3 in those situations earlier in Cristobal's tenure.

Last two years of Louisville in Brohm era:

2025: 4 ACC losses with 2 OT losses to UVA and Cal
2024: 3 ACC losses with all 3 losses being within 1 score and one of those was Stanford

Louisville is 9-7 in ACC play the last two years. Miami is 12-4.

This guy is a f***ing moron. Don't apply "logic" to your reason for keeping Miami out that you then don't apply to Louisville.
