We know how to imo cause the 2nd half, we were moving the ball on the ground. However I think Dawson gets away from it cause he has a sicko at QB. Don't blame him.

Like dude, Riley Williams but their star DE on his *** on a run
How often is Dawsons play changed at the line?

I am not on the Cam sucked bandwagon, but the reason X slipped on that play is b/c Cam threw it behind X and he was trying to stop his momentum and reach back behind him.
He has thrown behind receivers all 5 games. Misses wide open options to throw into coverage

it’s not easy for a RB when UM has the OL so close together. It would be trying to run full speed between 2 F-350s parked side by side in "compact cars only” parking spaces. I wonder why the splits are the way they are.
Exactly. Our RB have nowhere to go.

We would be fooling ourselves if we thought we were just going to roll through everybody. VT looks to be a solid team and Cam had pressure on him all night. We need Rivers and Bain back, Bell is not an elite LT and no running game is going to hurt us going forward. This is game we probably should have lost but we found a way to win, I'll take it.

On the last play, would it not make sense to bring in someone to match up with the height of the VT wide receiver @ 6’5” ?

Not sure why we call the timeouts at the end and let them setup for the last play and we make no adjustments.

I don't think it's a change in the entire play most of the time. Cam does more pre snap than any other QB we've had. The George TD for our first score, Ward changes the play presnap and he knows it's a TD. He didn't change the complete formation or anything like that. I just think most of our plays have variations that Cam can check into based on what the defense shows us.

The phantom holding call that wiped a 14 point lead off the board KILLED our momentum.

Up 21-7, they get a fake holding penalty. Then, they scored a quick TD to tie it up at 14...

It was a war from that point on. Flags galore, poor tackling, poor blocking, etc.

Better team won. This happens every season. We just aren't used to being on the positive side of this.

Great teams aren’t always great…just great when they have to be. We were great when we had to be trailing 34-31.
I'd hold the accolade. We have a lot to "clean up" to be anywhere near being called "great." We still haven't played another team with anywhere near our talent,

So some here think we should win by 20-30 its every game? GET REAL. Things to clean up, don’t yet know about injuries but this team found a way to win. I’ll take it too..LETS GO CANES!

The fumble was such an unnecessary turnover too. That directly led to a TD.

It doesn't have to lead to a TD. I'm not buying this would have a blowout game were it not for the TOs or even some of the balls vs our guys. Not with that sorry excuse of a defense.

We’ll get better. We’ll get healthy.

Y’all’s problem is you think UM has the best players in the world and every other team sucks 😂. We are going to get punched in the mouth. It’s part of the game. Good win.

For sure - what makes Cam a good QB is not his consistent accuracy. That and his being reckless with the ball at times, makes me very skeptical that he will be a high NFL draft pick. I think he is a great college QB who has some flaws and those flaws will be multiplied several fold in the NFL.
