what's crazy is that is already outdated

several places saying over 1400 fbs players in the portal

 
106 FBS Qb’s is crazy.

I am going to make some numbers up here., and I don’t even know if this is fair or not. But on average FBS schools would carry 2 Qb’s capable of playing at the level at any one time.
Obviously better schools may have 3 or 4, others only 1.
133 schools, 266 qb’s. That is 40% of Qb’s are in the portal. That does make the assumption that of those 106 they fit into that “capable of playing at the level, at this point in time”, which assuredly they are not, but either way, those are crazy numbers.
