Some statistics to keep in mind...

Tennessee is not that good, they should not be anyone's measuring stick. More importantly, football is a game of matchups. App St runs a spread, they're prepared to defend UT. Not in the least they had all off-season. They do not matchup well with how we play on either side of the ball. Want to stop a methodical run attack?.... get into the backfield. Want to dominate small quick players, run at them. Now execution will be key. Let's see what the boys got

QUOTE=The Franchise;2621838]I keep hearing how App Store dominated UT, and that UT got lucky to sneak out with a win. I didn't remember it that way, and I looked up the numbers.

UT had more yards and 1st downs. App gained under 300 yards on the game. App had the benefit of a 2-1 turnover margin too including a muffed punt deep in UT's territory.[/QUOTE]

Here is a stat to keep in mind:

Recruiting class rankings last 5 years (average)

Miami 17th

App store 113th
That's the only stat that should matter.

Here's another stat:

Rick annual salary $4M

Satterfield annual salary $37,500.00

Time to earn that salary, Rick, by taking your enormous talent advantage and exploiting it.

Miami can lose with turnovers, otherwise, Richt is smart enough to use the talent advantage he has, even if the offense isn't clicking, like against FAU, and find what is working. Kaaya was off, so he went to the run. Like he said, he probably could have gotten him on track passing the ball, but if the running game was working, there was no reason to risk it.

Wow only 37k? No way. There's HS coaches that make more then that

It was a joke to hammer home the fact that one guy is making several million per year, and the other guys making a pittance. You expect the guy you're paying all that money to have his better players prepared enough to beat vastly inferior players.
