Some Parents Def Read CIS

POS. Just to the 4 and 5 stars? Really? Some 2 and 3 making a big difference here. You couldn't sniff the field here. Stay with the keyboard warrior mentality you have or just quit CIS. of course, I won't know because you made the ignore list
Sir, I have sniffed the field at both the Orange bowl and Sun Life. I think that is what it’s called. Anyway, both fields smelled like fresh cut grass and were amazing.

I also posted this from my phone so I am an IPhone warrior and not a keyboard warrior. Thank you for taking my post seriously by the way.

Now would you please get back to wiping down the treadmills at Planet Fitness.

He's obviously transferring at the end of the season. Would like to see for my own curiosity him actually on the field to see if he truly is a "gamer" regardless of what Enos see's in practice. In very limited exposure he seemed fine in Orlando spring game and the mop up duty at OSU.

I don't think Perry has the consistency or intangibles needed to be the #2 in case Jarren was to ever go down long term.
Fair enough.

If they leave, don't care. I'm so over fretting about players who might quit. It's ******* non-stop these days and it's become absolutely exhausting.

I'm not worried about it, it is what it is and part of today's game. I do miss the days where guys hung around waiting for their shot and did with it what they could. It's certainly a different generation and the NCAA is feeding into it. Great lessons we're teaching this young men.

Easy............Players who want to be Canes, will make the commitment.
No board, parent, or fan should come between them and this desire and commitment....
It is a privilege, of any recruit to be a Cane.
It means a **** of a lot, and sets the stage for the future locker room.

Appreciate them sending their sons here despite the incessant whining of the resident trolls, mopes and doomsdayers.

most football boards are like this though. The difference is, this one is free and the mods actually don’t moderate anything. Hopefully players and parents realize this is not even 1% of the fan base so hopefully they don’t let what they see here impact them negatively.

LOL, how is it quitting if you transfer? Jarren is clearly the starter going into next year, so why wouldn't you look for a place that can use you &/or needs you?

I agree with that 100%. Poor choice of words on my part. I wasn't trying to make a point of "transferring" vs "quitting". My post was about all of it, the fact we seem to spend 80% of our time here talking about either guys who left or guys who might leave. Like I said, it's exhausting. If you're here next year in Orange and Green, awesome, let's ride! If you're not, so be it... and me personally, I'm done caring about those that are leaving/may leave. That's all. I'm gonna spend my energy on the guys we have and the guys who want to be here.

Dear Bubba Baxa's parents:

First and foremost, I'd like to congratulate you raising a fine young man. The deck was really stacked against him with that name and yet, he overcame the odds. Despite my affinity for underdog stories, I would however like to file a complaint.. What gives on the extra points?! This isn't the NFL. They aren't even free throws. It's Fundamentals 101. Man that really grinds my gears.. not to mention the chip shot FG's costing us several games. I digress. Perhaps you could talk to him. Let him know @ilovelamp51 extends his cloak of forgiveness. If you are still reading this, you shouldn't be. I have nothing better to do, work is slow, I'm not sure of what I'm even eating.. I was supposed to stop by the store and grab some fresh horseradish to make a meatloaf last night but I got off track and never made it. Needless to say I ended up with a combo of leftover spaghetti-o's & cereal. Not even Cinnamon Toast Crunch top shelf type. Some basic brand that one of the kids like. Like my pastor use to say, live or die by the 5 P's. Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. Seems applicable here. Now what were we talking about. Oh the meatloaf. Yeah. It's delicious. It's a secret family recipe passed down from generation to generation. Actually from generation to me. I'm also not certain about the secrecy of it. Slide into my DM's and I'll snap you a pic. Nothing vile. I don't do nudes. Although I have. It's a bit misleading to be honest. Pictures make everything bigger. Perhaps the goalpost aren't as wide as they seem. Do you happen to know the dimensions? Anyway just wanted to reach out real quick, drop a friendly hello and extend my compliments on doing such a great job. I hope to hear from you soon. Until then, keep trucking.

Our fans want to win, badly. What's not to like about that? I wouldn't want my son going somewhere with low expectations.

I try not to dog players too much. They aren't the ones getting paid millions to put a good product on the field. I want our players to get great coaching so they can not only win here, but have a better chance of collecting a big paycheck when they leave. So yeah, I'll bash the heck out of coaches for not putting our players in the best position to succeed.

Be thankful he kicks the ball out of the back of the endzone after every score. I remember when we had kickers that couldn't do that, and it cost us dearly.

Satire. Drivel.. Disregard. Remember the open letters from fans days? Gold.

Such has always been the case and always will be—here and literally every other university—and it will never change. Fans are gonna run their mouths and players / players' families are going to see it.

Go read an Alabama message board after they lost to LSU. Many wanted Saban fired and were trashing other players in the loss—mostly the defense, that gave up a boatload of points and yards.

If kids don't want to come to Miami because of social media or message board rants—they're going to (1) deal with it wherever else they go and (2) are going to have a hard time cutting it in life; especially if their parents feed into the "don't trash my baby" or "everybody's wrong and you are right, my child" bullsh1t.

It's 2019. This is simply a part of the sport these days—and if anything, it gives kids nothing more than an excuse when they want to break a commitment.

"I was gonna got there, but decided to de-committ because of some things fans were saying online." It's a copout.

truth.

this should be tacked at the top of the board with a warning: "if you can't handle life, then don't read this!"

Im glad coach diaz is a quick learner, when asked tbe question about playing a guy because he might transfer coach diaz response was something like "you could lose credibility real quick doing that" im sure after the gaytor game, and other games he woke up, which is why transfer tate hasnt been seen since, coach diaz really was about to lose the team when transfer tate started getting reps at wideout, lol, rookie or any headcoach mistake. This offense has gotten better since irvin has been playing more as well, cause he's a more physical blocker, mallory should've been redshirted along with pope!

you're right.

you'd think the mods were the guys in charge of political posts at facebook. really bizarre how this board is managed.

You do know that Bubba Baxa was a 3 star. I got called out earlier because I don’t give a &@&$ about 2 and 3 stars so you may be on a hot list also.

I personally will always be thankful to you for the horse radish and meatloaf combo. I am going to try it and have no doubt it will be great. The two sound like a winning combo.
