I wasn’t saying that he wasn’t a good DC, I was just pointing out that being good at programs that have 70 5-star athletes is a lot easier than most realize.

Your point is withstanding, I wasn’t disagreeing with you, just adding that being good at Bama isn’t necessarily an accurate barometer for a coach.
I concur. Alabama is a rehabilitation center for coaches, not all, but most. I prefer coaches that produce without the great talent. Usually is a good indicator.

For example, Urban Meyer, he produce as WR coach at Colorado state and Notre Lame. Then produce at Bowling Green.

I’m cool with hiring UGA assistants, not necessarily because they’re great coaches, but if they can help Mario recruit at the level Kirby is, they don’t really have to be. I think that’s the ultimate blueprint anyway. Yes, extreme schematic advantages would be great. But Mario has proven to be an average to above average football coach. He’s an elite of elite recruiter. The game is going to be recruit so well that you don’t need a marked schematic advantage. He knows he can do that here a lot easier than at Oregon.

How in the actual F does nobody know anything?! My Lord

I am hearing whispers in the streets that Mario has employeed the services of some very dangerous people to track down leakers

Is there even a light at the end of this seemingly endless tunnel in terms of waiting for the OC and DC to be announced? Does anyone have even the slightest clue when we should expect these coordinator hires? The NFL regular season is over. The college National Championship Game is tomorrow night. What exactly is the problem? I just don't get why this has become so drawn out. This is getting borderline ridiculous. Announce the freaking coordinators already for crying out loud! Good grief!

NFL season just ended yesterday. So it will take atleast a couple of days, to a week for coaches and assistants to go through their end of season process. After that I think the flood gates will open, and the coach carousel will be in full swing. I hope we don't have to wait that long, but if the coaches Mario has in mind are at the NFL level, that may be the time frame.

Randy Shannon's #1 ranked defense in 2000 and 2001 would like a word with you in the back sir.
