Not necessarily ... depends on the family and the location. People who are fortunate to have been born or lived a period of their lives in a somewhat rural area and have been exposed to activities ... like hunting, fishing, shooting ... take those experiences with them their entire lives and look at those activities as being some of the most normal and enjoyable things one can do with friends and family. I had grand parents that were born and raised on a farm in rural NW Minnesota ... outhouse and well water ... pretty rustic. As a 6-11 year old visiting it was a hoot ... hunt ... clean game ... eat what we shot. Fish, ride horses, target shooting with a variety of firearms. You were taught to respect guns as soon as you could walk ... because everybody had them and hunted pheasant, duck, deer, rabbit. Everybody understood how to inspect, clean, field strip as required, a .22, .410, 12 gauge, 30/30. Long guns were the mainstay ... hand guns were for target shooting. All of the children ... male and female ... knew and could use, guns of virtually any description. The only firearms fatalities in the entire region in over a decade were a couple of hunting accidents ... there was never an incident of somebody actually using a firearm to harm another human being. Fortunately there are still many people in this country who still remember the past and continue to enjoy "normal" activities. One of my favorite target rifles is a 40:65 caliber Shiloh Sharps breechloading rifle (like the Quigley Rifle) that was built for me at Shiloh Rifle Mfg. in Big Timber, Montana. Enjoy that ribeye!

With ammo prices going crazy, do you have a good source for bulk ammo?

Why are you saying Ginobili made traveling legal? Shlt, I can’t remember the last time that traveling wasn’t legal. It’s been a long *** time. I’m not saying I disagree with you, I just never heard that before. Seems like people have been traveling and it not being called since before the 90s.

I mean everybody’s been traveling for so long I can’t even remember when a traveling call has been made.

One of the biggest mistakes that parents make especially ones who live in urban or suburban areas is the lack of awareness of how much kids love the outdoors.
I lived in Alief county just outside of Houston from 82-85.

It’s wasn’t that rural. The neighborhood I lived in was on the outskirts close to large rural spaces and bayous. All the kids in my neighborhood had a BB gun and by association I had a BB gun. We would get lost all day in those woods shooting anything we could try to kill.
Even the girls would come. I was 11 when I got there and lost a bunch of weight tracking through all that bush.

Haven’t met a 8-10 year old kid that didn’t love camping. I’m fortunate to live in an area here the homeowners actually own decent chunks of land. We make bonfires when the temperature falls below 60 (freezing by sofla standards) my kids love it, his friends love it. His friends call him and ask if we’re gonna have another “camp fire”.

Outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking is in our dna wether people want to admit it or not.

I couldn’t yell out in pain because the room was chock full of other DL coaches and my defensive staff is sitting there watching. Bruh, I felt like i had been hit across the arms with a **** bat. Dude had some of the heaviest hands I’d ever felt. They hit me even harder cause I wasn’t even trying to protect myself. Then he goes, “ The next thing I like to teach ‘em….” I’m like, “Next?! Shiddd!” I went to step by him cause my seat was on the other side of where he’s standing. I was going back to my seat. He thinks I’m coming back for more. So he grabs me and puts me in the position he wants me in. “Now against a reach (reach block). Reach me!” I’m saying to myself, “Ny99a I’m trying to reach my **** seat.” This time I brace myself and push back, even though I couldn’t feel my arms. It doesn’t hurt nearly as much. He defeats my “reach” by pressing and then ripping under my outside arm. I knew what was coming, so I tried to brace against it. Still hurt like **** though, when he hit my elbow. Again, I don’t make a sound. Took it like a man 🙄. I am looking to the heavens for help, now. I just wanna go to my seat. Then he goes,”Now against a down block….we like to destroy the puller”. This is pre spread craze. He then grabs some big fat older white dude that’s standing on the wall. I’m thinking, “this is gonna be good”. I’m the OT in this scenario, so I down block and this other guy is playing the part of the pulling guard. So I go to the imaginary LB, and this gentleman is slowly jogging at Gardner, he hits this guy in the v of the neck with one hand, and under his right man boob with the other hand. Dude let’s out a painful, “Oh God!” as he’s falling backwards. He stayed on his feet though, but his fat *** got staggered 🤣🤣🤣 The room burst out in muffled laughter. I ain’t gonna lie, I’m laughing my *** off at this point. RG: “You alright, man? I didn’t mean to hit u that hard.” Dude clutching his chest and throat: “Yea, yea man, I’m good.” We finished the presentation and my arms was hurting for the day. Like I could still feel his hands on specific parts of my arms for hours. From that point on, I never sat anywhere near the front row at any coaching clinic that I attended. Edit…. One more thing… if you ever get in a fight with Rodney Garner, you’d be smart to have a bat or a pistol, maybe both. If you don’t have said weaponry, prepare to take an *** whippin.

Good idea. But some of these stories may implicate some people, wit their schools or more importantly, their wives, 🤣😂🤣. Some of these coaches (High School and College) are wild as fucc, bruh.

The 9mm and 5.56 are actually going down.
I used to just go to palmetto state armory.
But bass pro believe it or not had a box of 250 9mm on sale the other day for 89.99 and that’s about as cheap as I’ve seen in a big box store in a while

Going to the shooting range and eating meat are not of themselves toxic masculinity. Those are just activities and dietary choices. Toxic masculinity is a mind set. So in this case, thinking that guns and meat are so inherently masculine that the woke mob would call them toxic masculinity starts to fall under toxic masculinity.

I didn’t know that the prices were going down for 9 mm. Last time I bought ammo in bulk was about over year ago and I remember thinking man these prices are way higher than I paid in the past

I see your point but the term isn’t being used in the general academic way you describe it. The “mindset” as you call it has been, by social programming, attached to anything that is deemed a “male” activity” and the term gets thrown out at times almost as a reflex. It has not, in the general public, been used to describe any man that dies on the sword of old world patriarchal male dominant family and social constructs.

So it’s not that Im concerned that I’m going to be labeled, I’ve already been labeled.
There are memes out there making fun of the activities I wrote about and labeling them as “toxic masculinity”.
Just google “meat and toxic masculinity” and then “guns toxic masculinity” and see for yourself.

And the issue isn’t wether those results are a correct definition of the term. The problem is that if enough of that information is tied to these activities then the court of public opinion and moral relativism takes over. Gun owner meat eater must mean I want my daughter barefoot and pregnant next to a stove.

And I’ve called them out. If your calling me “toxic” without knowing my stance on any issue or knowing what I stand for them who is the one that is actually “radicalized”.
