Joe Brady was garbage as the Panther's OC. That's just a fact.

Coaches with garbage results get recycled all the time in the NFL, so I wouldn't be surprised if he lands something.

But he's not some "hot commodity" that NFL teams are "salivating" over like some of the posters on here were claiming in December.

I genuinely had to double take when someone said UCLA (not even a Top 10 team but UCLA...) were realistically thinking they were gonna take Nathaniel Hackett from GB. The same Hackett who has been touted as HC candidate for a few years.

As their OC/QB coach.

And he didn't even go there...

I think his primary focus is on recruiting so I am not sure he doesn't care. But I think he is playing the long game. Either the 22 recruits are going to trust him that he will land competent coordinators or they are not. If they come they are coming for Mario, not for the coordinators.

Your logic is wrong. I am not saying he is an option for the bears but you tweeting that they are interviewing another candidate doesn’t prove he isn’t. Teams interview multiple candidates.
 
Slightly different question on Mario's proclivity to take his time when hiring coaches.

Certain media members covering recruiting reported that the absence of coordinators is negatively impacting our recruiting efforts.

True or false?

Catch 22… all this money to hire an OC but that OC has to live up to the money he’s making.. and there’s not a lot of sure things to choose from.

Then, when you rule out the philosophical differences that Mario doesn’t want such as Air raid there’s even less to choose from.

Macho confirmed what many of us were thinking regarding the lack of coordinators; that teams are using it full-force to negatively recruit.

Absolutely no idea what the wait is, but if we strike out on NSD, this waiting to "focus on signing day and recruiting" will literally have been for nothing.

"Nothing" might be exaggerated but there will be a price that was paid.
