ND recruits well too. That’s the Orange and green glasses I’m talking about.

We may have a better DL in the future but the LBs they’re recruiting are 2nd to none in America. To go along with quality/good DL and DBs
I think ND had some recruiting success because USC, Texas and MICH were down. The won't be getting top recruits from Cali anymore. They won't be coming into Florida or Texas going forward, especially with Mario here. NIL has put TAMU on another level and UT will get things going. I hate that school!

I have to say I kind of feel sorry for him.

His life is probably typical of mid-level coaches in college and probably even in high school. Bouncing around, not knowing where your next paycheck is going to come from, adjusting to new cities or locations all the time. Not everybody has the million plus dollar salaries guaranteed.
You know as well as anyone, life is about choices. He’s been around the block a time or two and certainly understands the pitfalls of the business. Seems like a good fella and I wish him well.

Of course you’re right, he just has his hangdog look about him. But like they say, it’s the life they choose.

He’s actually a decent coach. I just don’t think he has recruiting skills. He should shoot for an NFL gig. He’ll get one.
