Some interesting stats

Indiana is a very slow starting team. They fail to score on their first drive the majority of the time. Their Defense has helped them out with a pick in at least two games that lead to points.

I could actually see Miami jumping out to a 14 point lead by the end of the first quarter. They adjust very well in game which is a sign of great coaching.

Our offense will need to keep their foot on the gas and wear them down as their offense does produce explosive plays. If we can keep those explosive plays out of the end zone, we have a good chance of forcing FGs. Very similar to Ole Miss but their RBs are 10.5 fast. Becker is likely a 4.5-4.6 type while the others aren’t even that fast but they are all Big at WR.

I think Xavier being out the first half could be trouble for us. They have 3 very productive WRs. With Xavier out who are we putting on the 3 WRs? **** isnt OJ banged up? We are getting down in Jaboree and Dylan Day territory.

Scott, O’Connor, OJF. And yeah, we‘ll need Antoine and maybe Fitzgerald in spot coverage duty.

I am hoping brown will be good to go given he was questionable going into the game.

I saw Brown jogging before the game. Slightly gingerly but he said he should be back after the game. Would be great to help deal with the big WR they have.

Man, if he STILL is running gingerly after not playing for almost a month? Idk man

Agree completely. We’ll see if Cig the genius switches it up but I noticed the same. They’re actually very much like Taint to me, expect Taint has better athletes. Don’t forget, Taint absolutely should have won the B1G Champ game, and if they did, Sayin is your Heisman. Full stop. They got stopped on a QB sneak inside the 5 and missed a 27 yard FG. But Taint had a 70% chance to win the game with 3 mins left.

I actually hated the Ole Miss matchup because Chambliss doesn’t get impacted by the rush due to his elusiveness and their scheme. I felt they’d neutralize our biggest strength, and they did. And still only got 27.

Ole Miss is 11th in sacks allowed. And they throw it 34 times a game.

Indiana is 36th in sacks allowed and throws it 25 times a game.

They go slow, we should be fully rested on defense, and you can get to Mendoza. He’s a very good athlete but can get to him. Get after his ***, especially on 3rd down, and I’m with you they don’t score 30 on us. We got 17 on Taint in a super low possession game and they have way more NFL dudes than Indiana does. Indiana gives up more yards per play than we do, playing Iowa and Pedo state and UCLA and Michigan State and Wisconsin and Purdue etc
And we only gave up 2 TDs to Ole Miss. Two of their 4 FGs were from 54 and 58. Indiana’s long range kicker has been out hurt

Indiana is good but idk if they are as dominant as the world/twitter believes. Oregon gifted them that game but was also a rematch. Bama was super over rated. I love that Miami won and played a B- game bc now they have so much to clean up and play ****ed off. Canes by 10

This another pump the breaks game narrative wise. If Indiana was so unstoppable the spread would be maybe 10-13 points. They are a good team, but they have played a few teams and demolished them where it got over exaggerated the difficulty of it. Anybody watch the Texas Tech game realized Oregon was highly overrated, not only that, they lost by 10 at home to same Indiana before. Bama started the season losing 31-17 to FSU who finished with a losing record and the SEC was down bar a few decent teams, of which we beaten 2 of them. Ole Miss and A&M were better teams than Bama. Their most impressive victory was beating Ohio State 13-10. U saw how we made Ohio trenches look.

That is not saying they are a bad team or cant win the game. They are really well coached but its easy to be well coached against teams who are totally impotent at parts of the game. Cant run the ball like Bama for example. That's a recipe where a team who keeps executing can demoralize you and run up the score. This is gonna be battle and like I said v Ohio, they are gonna have to stop our run game and we can throw the ball if we need to.

When that ball is snapped and we start playing violent that spread wont matter

Btw Their OOC schedule was absolute dog wash. They played Old Dominion and won 27-14 to open the season, then Kennesaw St and Indiana St. I think they are a bit overrated boys. Just saying.

IF Beck doesn’t throw one INT vs SMU or UL we win. Indiana makes less mistakes than everyone.
I get it. But we hadn’t really dropped INTs this year. What I’m saying is that we gotta and I think we will capitalize when we get a chance to make plays on defense
