certainly validates our defense is what it shows to be. Aint no fluke or outlier in 8 games.

Just catch interceptions when they hit you in the hands. Please.

We know they’re a good team. But it’s not like they lit up teams who have athletes like ours.

337 yards against Iowa
326 yards against Oregon the first time
326 yards against pedo state
388 yards against Wisconsin
340 yards against Taint
362 yards against Oregon last night

Just play a good, clean game and I promise you we’re gonna be right there in the 4th quarter.

We just have to find a way to win 3rd down. They have the best 3rd down offense in the last decade. Maybe more. 57% on the season, that’s even better than our 2024 offense. If we can keep them under 50% on 3rd down, we can win this game for sure. And we will. They’re not some offensive juggernaut. They’re just well coached, don’t make a lot of mistakes, Mendoza is really accurate and they keep the chains moving.

This offense is no better than Ole Miss. It’s no better than ND. It’s no better than Ohio State.

We haven’t given up 30 yet this year. If we don’t help them with short fields, we won’t again next week. If we can keep them in the 20s there’s absolutely no reason we can’t win this game.

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Yes, a good defense forces a lot of them. But a good bit is luck, too. Oregon fumbled twice last night, Indiana recovered both. Indiana fumbled twice, Indiana fumbled both. They have the 5th best turnover margin of all teams in the last 10 years. 1.50 per game. What if we don’t turn it over and we force 1 from them. How bout 2?

They’re good. They are nowhere even close to unbeatable. Win 3rd down, just be even at worst in turnovers, and play clean. 5 penalties or less. I guarantee we’re right there and can/will win.

Their team total for this game is 28.5.

They are 127th in seconds per play. We’re 130th.

If there’s one thing I’m pretty confident about, it’s that They are not scoring 29 or more points in this game.

That team total is going under.

Agree completely. We’ll see if Cig the genius switches it up but I noticed the same. They’re actually very much like Taint to me, expect Taint has better athletes. Don’t forget, Taint absolutely should have won the B1G Champ game, and if they did, Sayin is your Heisman. Full stop. They got stopped on a QB sneak inside the 5 and missed a 27 yard FG. But Taint had a 70% chance to win the game with 3 mins left.

I actually hated the Ole Miss matchup because Chambliss doesn’t get impacted by the rush due to his elusiveness and their scheme. I felt they’d neutralize our biggest strength, and they did. And still only got 27.

Ole Miss is 11th in sacks allowed. And they throw it 34 times a game.

Indiana is 36th in sacks allowed and throws it 25 times a game.

They go slow, we should be fully rested on defense, and you can get to Mendoza. He’s a very good athlete but can get to him. Get after his ***, especially on 3rd down, and I’m with you they don’t score 30 on us. We got 17 on Taint in a super low possession game and they have way more NFL dudes than Indiana does. Indiana gives up more yards per play than we do, playing Iowa and Pedo state and UCLA and Michigan State and Wisconsin and Purdue etc

After reading your post I was curious, so I looked up both our teams' general stats on stats.ncaa.org. Figured I'd put them up side-by-side for everyone else too. Our D's 3rd down conversion percentage is 30.8% while their O's is at 58.2%. We are obviously getting under 50% even if we split it 50/50.

I think it’s only one team - 21. 11 on your sheet is JMU and IU didn’t play them.

I watched 3 quarters of the IU-OSU game and imo IU controlled the game the entire time. OSU couldn’t do much on the IU defense and sayin was running for his life the entire time. All OsU could manage is the offense through smith. I saw that IU had a lot of stalled drive that led to FGAs - they left a lot of points on the table bc they were able to easily move the ball in general. Jmo

I think Xavier being out the first half could be trouble for us. They have 3 very productive WRs. With Xavier out who are we putting on the 3 WRs? **** isnt OJ banged up? We are getting down in Jaboree and Dylan Day territory.

They key is as usual, our dline has to wreck this game. Their RT is weak as ****, if they leave bain 1on1 how osu/ole miss did they will be cooked

Mesidor and bain are a huge reason why we are, if they dominate i like our chances. Hopefully moren is healthy as well

Their qb is the best qb we have faced because he is experienced and can pick you apart if you give him easy pictures pre snap and aren’t getting pressure. Heatherman has to keep him guessing, there were open big plays vs osu that sayin missed or couldn’t hit those need to be cleaned up.

If OJ and Brown play and are close to full speed it is a different game

If not all stats are useless. Any team down their top 3 CB (nfl or college) for the first half is in trouble defensively

Dawson has his work cut out for him to put together a flawless game plan to get enough points on the board. The offense needs to work hard on not allowing a single mental error. We have to execute and be nearly flawless. This coupled with getting some of our injured back will give us a chance. Carer Davis needs to get his mind right going into this. It very well could be his foot that gives us #6.
