Some hard truths

Actually sad truth is if Kenneth started for us and Cam Harris started for MSU, we win this game easily. Difference 1 elite talent on offense makes. We dont even have anyone above average on offense

The contrast should have been soo startling because one consistently broke tackles, pushed forward for yards, made guys miss, outran angles, made plays happen when they werent initially there, and the other just seemed to lay down like captured dog at first sign on contact, cant make any msu defender miss, has to stop completely to cut, makes no plays, jus a waste of carries and plays at this point, nothing happens when he touches the ball..

We're not really a football program. It's more like a social club. You come here and get to play in a glitzy stadium on national tv while focusing on building your brand by posting intriguing photos and quotes on social media. It's all fake. Miami football has become synoymous with social media. Everything that's said and done by our players and staff is all just a facade of regurgitated hype with no substance.

Alot of things mentioned were questions I had before season and was told sunshine pumper things.. The LB unit is the worst unit I have ever seen, MSU qb ran around Flagg and he was just stuck in mud, multiple times seen this guy jog and this is the best we have?! this guy wouldnt be on depth chart for most teams, THIS IS THE GUY people were hyping up as savior?! If the LB arent blitzing and make a tackle in backfield, they wont do **** and safeties have to tackle, this alone makes the safeties steps have to be forward and messes with coverage overall.. Defense is a mess.. Mallory is a bust, if you cant block you better catch everything, this dude has balls hitting him in chest and he is dropping them.. Many starts matter not if you suck, experience doesnt make you a better player, oline is still the same crap..

Lashlee is too basic but he opened it up yesterday, too many drops for a offense that was trying to dink n dunk down field, you have to execute at high level but Harley, Mallory drops, #5 had one too, hard to build an offense with crap Oline, one of the worst starting backs who can make nobody miss and wrs who drop passes for fun

When the punter is the best player on you’re team, you’ve got problems. When even the dog walks out of the room, you know it’s over.

He was considered a star yet missed all of spring and as the only experienced TE did not have to earn the slot. Have we ever been this shallow at TE? Remember we were TE U!
Looks like TEU is skipping this season unless Arroyo gets more playing time over WIll, then we may recover that moniker.

And it's always someone else's fault. We let go of Searles, he is now coaching a very good OL at UNC. Garin Justice was supposed to be a good OL coach and they're the same or worse than last year with another year of age and training.

The culture is rotten to the core.
We probably have one of the best staffs we have had in a long time here at The U. We have one common denominator that making them all look like trash.
Guess who?
I hate seeing the assistance bashed, except when deserved, but I think we have decent assistants, but a team with no heart/fight and poor leader.

- I still think Lashlee is a fine OC. But he's not a miracle worker. With a decent OL and better QB he'd look like a genius. But he's slow to slow to adjust to the limitations he has to work with.
Great work Trav but unfortunately Lashlee is a BIG concern. His play calling a key times of the game has been just awful. How many times am I going to watch Cam run into the middle where our line makes no holes. 3 games in a row he's done it. Like he thinks all of a sudden the OL is going to open up like moses parting the sea. He has all these weapons but continues to go to the same people over and over. Bringing Brinson in was a good start. But we need to understand we can't be a grind it out team with this OL so put them into position to succeed. King is playing hurt so we need to let one of the young guns to play.

Nothing new or earth shattering here, I just need to vent somewhere, and my girlfriend and my dog are sick of hearing about it.

- King is a tough, gutty, athletic quarterback that gives his all, but it's clear he's not a game changer at this level. He's not getting very much help at all so I'm sympathetic, but he can't raise this team up. A great or even really good quarterback might.

- I can't think of the last time Cam Harris made a guy miss. Give him a clear lane and he's pretty effective. But RBs have to create some juice on their own. He has none.

- Mallory is pretty **** close to entering bust territory. He could still turn it around but man. If your can't block consistently, and you can't make important catches, what value are you exactly? A decoy?

- OL is still a disaster. Somehow they're actually worse than last year. No one is consistent. For all the Zion 1st round talk I'm not sure he's even an NFL practice squad guy right now.

- There is not 1 LB on this roster who would even be in the 2 deep on any of our great or even good teams. Not one.

- Our starting safeties are good in run support but useless in all other aspects. Don't you have to have some manner of utility when the ball is in the air to be a starting FBS safety? Everywhere but here I guess.

- I still think Lashlee is a fine OC. But he's not a miracle worker. With a decent OL and better QB he'd look like a genius. But he's slow to slow to adjust to the limitations he has to work with.

- I don't know if Diaz is coaching to not care about keeping contain or of we just can't do it but I've never seen anything like it since maybe the '97 season or some of D'Nofrio's crapfests.

- The lack of toughness is inexplicable. I don't care about Rique getting burned on that double move. It was desperation time and he jumped a route to make a play. He's one of about 4 or 5 guys on the entire roster who play with passion and intensity.

- Diaz should go full early Butch era and let the young guys get experience. But since he's coaching for his job, and he clearly trusts the veterans no matter what, we're actually likely to see less, not more of the young guys.

- This team has a flare for the inexplicable leading to disaster. The Mallory TD drop, the Hall video game glitch, Zion completely whiffing on a basic outside shoulder move.. it's surreal.

Oh there's more.. But feel free to add on.
I can't blame King, I don't think Tom Brady could do better with this group: I just can't understand how there is anyone on this team that right now is ****ed off. Its like we got a reality beating from Bama, and we packed our bags.

We don’t block well. We don’t tackle well. We don’t catch well. We commit stupid penalties, our guys are consistently out of position, and we play with zero heart or effort.

Badly coached team
hes-right-you-know.webp

D'Eriq King has gone from one of college football's bright young dynamic QBs to the old man who is beat to **** and has nothing left but guile. He plays like Brett Favre in those Wragnler Jeans commercials. He's pretty brutal to watch right now. Even when he's effective and moving the ball, its a struggle.
They just ripped Gurvan and Miami on the Monday night pregame for his horrible glitch play where he decided to go for the blocker instead of the guy with the ball. We byke!!!!
😐
