Papa Shaq, I brought my son to the Richt camp a few weeks ago and as we walked past Hecht to the intramural field where the camp was held, we saw Shaq coming out of the weight room at approximately 8:00 am. I pointed Shaq out to my son and told my son that Shaq was FINISHING his workout at 8:00 am. Your son is all in.

Morgan was a beast. 532 career tackles at UM. That's 133 a year. Didn't he end up retiring early from Carolina because of concussions?

That's one of my favorite photos.

What a group of linebackers.

All played in the league for several years. You know the stories.

Technically he signed with the Saints, but never played for them.

He was reckless with his body and couldn't stand up to an NFL season. He was also incredibly unlucky - like when he broke his leg as a rookie blitzing the QB from WLB.

I think shaq can be great.

Dan Morgan was the first player in NCAA history to win the Bednarick, Nagursky, and Butkus award in a career (he did it in one season). 138 total tackles (90 solo), 15 tfls, 1 ff, 2 fr, 2 ints.
Since then only Mati teo has also done it (2012). 113 total tackles (only 55 solo), 5.5 tfls, 7 ******* Ints.

Basically if he wants win some awards, he's either going to need to create turnovers, or absolutely stack up on tackles.

How do you vets rank the Triangle here at Miami?
Armstead has the best pro career but was drafted the latest

Morgan is one of my all-time favorite canes. Your kid will have a chance to be in that conversation if he continues to play like last year.

He had 1 speed and was never afraid to stick his helmet into any play. Still don't think he would change a thing...a bad *** Cane for sure.
