1. Donna fires Golden.

2. Interim coach - whoever - maybe Coley.

3. New President can hired new Head Coach.

If he didn't have to give up so much money, I wouldn't be surprised if he resigned for "family reasons" and worked on TV for a year until he got another gig.

He's been preaching his message for four years and it isn't being received. He's completely at a loss. It isn't going to magically click in year five and he knows it.

Until Saturday night, I thought Golden's main problem was his friend D'offrio; Now, I am not too sure. We have no business losing to GT, UV or even Nebraska. I am fed up with Golde. I want him gone yesterday!

Are you serious? The problem has always been Golden. The other guys work for him. If they aren't performing - as Al would say - "it's all on me".

There is no way he has a 100% guaranteed contract. His buy out is probably half that, or less than UF paid to oust Muschamp.

Based on previous UM coaching contracts, my guess is that golden's buyout for after the 2014 season is around $5 million. My guess is that it goes to the $2 million range after 2015, which is why I think he's here for one more year.

The flaw in the OP's idea is that Donna is not going to incur a $5 million buyout that would have to be paid by her successor. That's a bush league move.

Come on, you're not that dense. Butch takes on the team, the 30 For 30 comes out, and suddenly the dumbasses finally find out the deal with Butch, including the new Presiident.

An unbiased President could quickly come to the conclusion that this man Butch is by far the most Coach for the dollar. And the U is back - for real.

Butch is hired as HC, we win Coastal for certain next season, very likely the ACC, and we're back in the game.
 
And, sadly, UF has a better story to tell right now. They fired their crappy coach.
We still have ours.

Oh yeah. UM much rather start hearing all the accusations of racism for NOT firing the white guy when he did the same, exact thing as the black guy.

Buyout be damned.

We know the BOT and Administration consists of elitists who are so much above everyone else, how much smarter they are than us unwashed, but they're also sensitive. Sensitive to charges and accusations of not being fair handed in racial matters.
