Solomon Update

Michigan has their own tiny South Florida linebacker and he's been just fine.

They also used a DB (Jabrill Peppers) as a linebacker in their scheme.

Maybe Solomon doesn't fit what we do exactly, but I've seen some Michigan LBs in recent years and he fits in just fine. They like the small guys that can get sideline to sideline. Don Brown leaves these guys in space and gives them a lot of responsibility to cover the lots of green and make plays while he stacks sides.

He will visit us the week before our big recruiting weekend. No bueno.

70-30 for me.

But the winter in Ann Arbor could help us.

As someone who has been in Detroit the last three days for work, the weather factor is absolutely in our favor. Unless you like the total absence of sunlight, bitter cold, wind, and snow flurries mixed with freezing rain.

im actually proud of you cis’ers today.
Not one person coming in here speculating on what “some other personal stuff” could mean.

Exactly. We've got dudes in this thread who still think the only LBs worth a **** are big lead-footed slobberknockers like Jeremiah Trotter or Brandon Spikes. Adapt or die. Hitting is practically being outlawed from the game. Every time Jaquan Johnson clobbers a WR it's an 8 minute targeting review. LBs need to have movement skills, mental processing and the ability to get dudes on the ground by any means necessary. Solomon will be a very effective tackler regardless of how many highlight hits he delivers.
