With the strategic cancellation of certain games down the stretch, and a premature announcement of which teams would play in the ACC-CG, IMHO, the ACC manipulated things to try to get their two favorite teams, Clemson and ND, in the CFP. But the CFB Playoff Committee could dash the ACC’s plans. First, Clemson must win, or they are out of the ACC-CG, but a ND loss could also knock them out of the CFP in favor of an SEC team, like Florida (if they beat Alabama) or TAMU.

I’d add an additional SEC team (3!) before even considering a second ACC team.
