Can anyone summarize for me? We got any freshmans or redshirter prospects?


Basically asking if there is any hope for next year

We need one of Johnson, Brown, and Donaldson to be day 1 starter at OT. Move Darling to RG.
 
Forgot about Brown. Is he practicing with the team at this point? God, do we need him to be the goods.
 
With how bad this OLine is

I hope nobody on the OLine is coming back next year. I hope none of the starting OLine will be back. I also hope Searles is not back next year. I hope for an entirely new OLine with a new OLine coach.

So we only signed one OL last year?
 
If we do everything the same all we have to do is replace the OL and the QB, and this offense will be humming.
 
Yes. Only signed one ol. Added a transfer in Brown.

With two seniors (gall, isidora) on the roster and a bunch of juniors and sophomores, there is major concern moving forward. We need to add 5-6 guys with 1-3 that can start day one. Donaldson may be a starter at RT which means we would have four potential RT and no LTs. Herbert and Telford are the two potential LTs. May be Johnson or Brown can step in. Darling needs to move to G or RT. If we push some of the deadweight out we will need to sign 6-7. We have 21-22 ships available today. Push knighton to medical, loftus, Jones, and Mahoney out which gets you to 26. Sunny may be done depending on his recovery.

The key will be signing 3 studs plus 3 quality guys, development of Johnson, Brown, St Louis, and signing 4-5 more in 2018.

There isn't an easy fix for that LT problem. From what I've been told, Brown may not help at that spot. Haven't watched him, though. Apparently Donaldson is an EE. So, he might very well get a spot along the OL, but would be surprised if it's at LT.
