So..Who do we want Indiana or Oregon

I need that get back on Oregon. Someone with more time on their hands get the receipts ready. Entitled fanbase thats never won **** but act like they are a blue blood.

Maybe as a prospect, but I give Mendoza the edge right now. Plus...it would be a homecoming for him and he probably feels like he was spurned by the Canes. That could work both ways. He can channel that or fall under pressure. Either way, rather face Moore.
we beat mednoza when he was at cal we can do it when he's at IU.

Nickname for somebody from the state of Indiana

But what IS a Hoosier?

I mean, if folks from Louisiana were called "Ticks," we all know what a tick is - and how many ticks Louisiana has. Plus, after a meal, they'll say, "I'm as full as a tick."

Is a Hoosier animal? Vegetable? Mineral? Or Metal?

Is it a modern term for Codpiece?

We want OU, Cignetti is some sorta autist-savant who will have his team uber-prepared. I'd rather face a goof who films recruit videos of himself jumping into pools with kids just to decommit a few days later.
Either team, but you’re right about Cignetti. He is far and away the best coach in college football.

I want to play the QB who is less mobile/cant make as much happen with his feet

I feel our DL will come out with their hair on fire and want the team that better suits us for rushing the passer.

Indiana is exactly the type of team that gives Miami problems by being disciplined and well coached. Indiana would have made Miami pay for some of the mistakes last night that Ole Miss couldn't.

Oregon has some moments like Miami where they get loose and can do dumb things. Lanning goes full meathead like Mario from time to time.

Aside from all the other points people have made, Oregon would have traveled twice into a time zone 3 hours different than theirs over the course of 6-ish days. I've done that for work and it's exhausting. If they win, they're gonna leave early tomorrow morning, fly back home for 5 or 6 days, and then fly back to the East Coast.

Vegas knows more than us, and Oregon would be -2.5 right now vs Indiana -5.5

For what its worth at least one of the nerd websites would have us favored over Oregon (CFB Graphs)

Are IU due a dud?

Also big game pedigree, they have to feel some pressure soon being nobodies who are favourites.

I watched the TT game and was impressed with OU.

We have an easier win against Oregon, but how can you not want to face the #1 team with the Heisman QB?

We still have something to prove.

because we have lost 2 games, people in the future will look back at that and wonder if we really were the best team or just got hot and lucky down the stretch.

Beating the #1 team and Heisman winner in the finale would end that debate.

That should be reviewable by a committee after each game, because that was not targeting.

His helmet went to the side of the receivers helmet & now he has to sit 2 more quarters over a bad call.
I dont get the defenceless rec part, Toney yes, just caught it. Thats "targeting" someone....Lee was bumbling and stumbling up field...Lucas can't "target" him.

This game is essentially becoming professional - so many things the powers need to sort out...

I don't care but if I had a preference I want Indiana. I want to be told all week how they are so well coached and hold the advantage at QB and blah blah blah. Bring it.

TT looked awful because their QB sucked and made their offense one dimensional, so I don’t give Oregon as much credit for what looks like a dominating defensive performance on paper. David Bailey of TT was able to generate pressure all game and I believe Bain and Mesidor would feast against Oregon’s O-line.
