So what happened to Franchise...

We’ve all been wrong. I got torn to shreds when I joined the board at 18 and asked a question about the Brad Kaaya to Boise rumors.

Well deserved, in hindsight.

You take your licks and move on. Bottom line: he was a great personality on the board, so I hope he eventually starts posting again.

Facts. ****, I was okay with the hire if he made the right hires. A bunch were. Oh well, people are people and are wrong from time to time.

But if you dish it out, be prepared to take it as well.

At least I hopped off that train as soon as I got on it. #4thAND17
That's why, I believe it is a good idea to tone down one's opinions knowing we are humans and make errors in judgement. I don't live by the sword so I don't die by the sword lol

I literally posted a screenshot of him saying he was a Diaz fan a month after he was hired dude lol.

He just changed his opinion when it was convenient. Which is fine, we’re all wrong and say stupid ****. But when you’re that condescending, you can’t get mad when posters pull up receipts.
he was incredibly consistent with that, over, and over, and over....

again.

Sung in the style of Sublime....

Cause if you really wanna know,
I think you should stop your cryin'.
Here's my 'kerchief to dry your eyes,
you know [Franchise] loves you....

[Groupies] here I am,
A rub up on my belly like some guava jelly,
Damsels, here I am,
A rub up on my belly like some guava jelly.

It’s ok to be wrong about things. If anyone here was always 100% correct, they wouldn’t be posting here because they’d be an AD or some kind of professional GM. It’s also ok to change your mind. Maybe you gave someone the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you were (gasp!) just trying to be optimistic. Nothing wrong with that. But don’t sit on an imaginary high horse and crap all over people who made the same mistakes you made and not expect people to pull your BS card. Every message board I’ve ever joined has had a Franchise. I’m not really a fan of shtick but whatever. There’s always someone with a quick wit, who posts a ton and probably gets too much enjoyment from the adulation of complete strangers. It’s nothing new. Eventually the shtick wears thin and the adoring fans lose interest. Personally, I could have went without the relentless **** jokes even though I usually respected Franchise’s football opinion. He seemed to have a solid grasp on the game but I think it sometimes got lost in the “act”.

The bottom line is that it sucks that he's gone. He was a huge personality and an integral part of this board. The Chise is a legend and that isn't limited to this board. Dude is a Miami Hurricanes message board legend. He goes back to the old Grassy board. The guy is literally one of the sharpest posters I've ever seen and nobody is funnier. I've seen Chise just rip trolls apart in such a way where I literally could not stop laughing. I sincerely hope the guy comes back. It's just not a Miami board without @The Franchise .
Absolutely, we lost a great one! An intelligent and hilarious poster. He could put together an ****nal of words and phrases and paragraphs like letterman and rip your whole world apart!! He was a sniper on his computer!!! Love the dude and would love to see him come back.

Wishing him well, I'll be taking a hiatus soon enough myself. Later

He was/is an entertaining douche who more often than not, out-kicked his coverage. His online bully schtick was effective against some but he's a beta keyboard warrior and most realize such. His football knowledge was pedestrian and nobody misses him. Let's be honest... nobody has thought about him until this post.

He was funny most of the time and when I was tired of the character I scrolled past without reading. His Firechat series were entertaining and he really had a way to construct profanities. The only thing that bothered me slightly were his groupies trying to pile on after he posted a takedown.

For all the people that hated him, or any other poster for that matter, why not ignore(block)?
There's couple porsters that I don't even see their messages and only know that they're are around when somebody quotes them, it's great

He had an entertaining delivery, I enjoyed his stuff. But he did eave abruptly. There's was some bad virus going around.

Thanks for clarifying this. I was pretty certain that this was the case.

We eat our own around here.
