That is what happens when there is a country club atmosphere, which is what Mark richt built. Fortunately, Richt is gone forever. Now, we do not have an ace recruiter on the staff. I laughed at people that called Hartley an Ace recruiter. He was not even close.

The good news: we don't need an Ace recruiter right now. What we need is a staff filled with Ace developers of talent. If we develop our talent properly, we will win

If Manny builds it, they will come. It's that simple.

Hartley was a really good recruiter in 2017. 2018 he didn't do so great. Dugans was a proven recruiter IMO. Glad they both got fired though. Defensive recruiting has been lackluster from day one. My concern is that Diaz doesn't value recruiting acumen as much as he should. We will see.

We need the program to recruit itself by having a schematic advantage for once. Good recruiters are going to lose out to SEC schools if we don’t have an exciting scheme to recruit to

Honestly didn’t notice just how much damage Richt did till Ivins put out that piece today in which he talked about how we are 0 for 20 I’m recruting battles since July

I get what you're saying. We need both though.
 
People talk about how hires affect recruiting. Ours is in such a mess (thanks Mork) that it's going to affect hiring. What good candidate wants to walk into this recruiting **** show? Thanks again, Mork.
 
we return most of our defense just change the offense up and we should be playing Clemson for the acc next year

Program has had one decent season in the last 15 years. I'm surprised any top recruits at all are looking our way. We're lucky to even get what we've been getting.

We don't need both. We need what we have to do their jobs at a high level. It would be great to have an ace recruiter, but we don't have that. Plus, I will take a great developer of talent over a great recruiter any day of the week.

If our coaching staff does their job at a high level, I guarantee you that we will get the recruits that we need.

No we don't. Two starting safeties gone, one starting corner and multiple d-linemen including our best defensive player Willis gone as well. If we even play Clemson next year, be prepared to get ran off the field.
