Solid argument. Just saying on paper the "beating x loss teams" doesn't look great for us.

This woman is retarded. Alabama should be in because they have 4 wins against teams that were previously top 22. Um, we have ranked wins too...and they lost to ******* FSU when we throttled them.
 
WIth every win Miami has gained footing in the CFP. The committee is not trying to ***** us. We have something to fight for. Win out. Beat a ranked Pitt. We will make the CFP.

Correct. That was the scenario when people thought Duke had a good chance of making the ACC CG. If Duke would have won, they would have taken Tulane/North Texas winner and James Madison over an 8-5 Duke or whatever.
 
Don't the committee rules state that common opponent results are win loss only, that margin of victory in those games is not a factor?

So if that's the case and we have the same record against common opponents, the only thing left is head to head which should have been the first factor anyways?

I think this works in our favor for the ACC to put pressure on the refs to call an even game because we are their only hope to getting some respect as a conference. We match up well vs anybody and had 2 fluke losses if we get in the playoffs we got a **** good shot

This whole thing is subjective. We know this after weeks of calling BS. Fact is, Miami is on an upward trend according to the committee. You need not have proof.

If Duke is ACC champ that hurts us even more due to weakening our resume substantially. We would 100% be out - even in the at large discussion imo. In that situation JMU would possibly be in as second G5 school to get in instead of Duke as 5th highest ranking Conf Champ. ACC champ is 100% in as long as it isn’t Duke. And if ACC champ is Miami the ACC is only getting 1 team in.

If only BYU loses ahead of us it entirely comes down to us vs ND for 1 at large spot. Thats all there is to it.
