Yep. But I don’t think they beat Tech. Theyre just not that good of a team and have coasted on a weak schedule.

I don't disagree. I would like to see ESPN ask the tough question tonight on why is Notre Dame ahead of Bama. That's what my focus will be on. They have heard for weeks about the Miami ND thing and done nothing.

ND's sole quality win will be outside the top 20, maybe clinging on for dear life to the top 25. (Unless of course they move up Pitt which would then benefit us as well because that gives us another opportunity to get a ranked win).

IF any of the people that get to ask the committee chair questions has a single brain cell in their head, that's the targeted questioning tonight. Why is ND ahead of Bama, what's the reasoning. Let see them talk their way out of that **** sandwich.

Then we get to the point where Miami and ND are within 3 of each other and we are back to reality.

Can we put all phases of our game together like we did earlier in the year and NOT hold on to win but Dominate 4 quarters.

Vandy is not ahead of us currently.

They are not moving up Vandy for beating Kentucky.

There’s a whole lot of hand wringing over Vandy. Zero T25 wins after Mizzou drops out. Our common opponent, Vandy was trailing vs VT until there was :24 left in third. After our second TD, it was never under a two score game. Vandy has also struggled vs Auburn and LSU. Their resume isn’t that great.
 
tbh the committee to be petty will move miami up past Utah. but then to not have to compare ND and Miami, they will then jump ND over OU, since they compare 4 at a time and ND would be in t2 and miami in t3

the next conversation would then be, why are we behind Bama when we have a common opponent that they lost to and we beat.

tonight should be "fun"

Vandy was 13 in week 12. Texas lost and they moved to 12 in week 13. Then week 14 they stayed at 12 while we jumped Utah to 13.

I mean. I guess. I just don’t see it. Vandy beat an inferior team comfortably and so did we. If anything, I could see both us and Vandy jumping Utah. We go to 12, Vandy 13 and Utah 14. They’d have to explain what Vandy did to warrant jumping us. No ranked wins, our common opponent, VT was never in doubt for us. Vandy trailed until the fourth quarter nearly started. If all it took was Vandy thumping a trash Uk team, we should’ve never jumped them to begin with.

I was on ESPN and they have the rankings all set up weird. You change weeks and the CFP takes the AP’s spot. Just dumb.

But I don’t see what Vandy did to warrant jumping us, and I also don’t see what we did to warrant being jumped.
 
why do people think being 12 means we are in ND group of 3 for the committee. They already laid the ground work last week saying the quad they compared ND to was the 8,9,10 group of OU, ND, Bama. Being withing 3 spots doesnt put us in their group imo. As long as they can keep buffer teams between us and ND they don't have to say we were with a comparative range. If we jump them it won't be until after the CCG weekend if BYU loses and Bama wins and jumps back into the top group being SEC champion. That would push ND down to 10 and if we are 11 now you force them to make a choice.
