I can't tell you how many times I've said to anybody who will listen that it's beyond baffling that we recruit all these kids and we can't find a single one who is comfortable fielding a punt.

Me: "This is Miami, for god's sake. We have our pick of the most elite athletes in the country. First we put Mark Pope back there, who promptly fumbles during a return, then muffs one. So we have to rely on a true freshman on the road at the #1 team in the country, and he looks like a deer in headlights. So finally we settle on a safety, with absolutely zero wiggle, and he can't catch one either. Thankfully it went out of bounds though, right??? What the **** are we doing?!"

Girl at the drive thru at Arby's: "Sir were you trying to order something, or....?"
 
My favorite response is, "Diaz still sucks, the only reason Miami is 6-1 and not 3-3 is D'Eriq King."

Wow. How about that. A top tier QB is the reason the team has won more games.

Watch Perry in mop up duty against Clemson. He threw and awful INT. That was all I needed to see to know he’s the same Perry and he shouldn’t be starting here next year.

1 aspect of special teams doesn’t mean it’s take a step back. Stop moping and trying to stand on one thing to prove a point. We’ve blocked more kicks this year, we’ve co vetted just about every scoring opportunity into points and we’ve made teams go the length of the field. Yes we need to sharpen up on punt returns but let’s not act like our specials, as a whole, isn’t light years better than what they were the previous couple of seasons.

So let me get this straight, King threw no interceptions played basically 3 1/2 quarters and the offense basically only put up 3 points, besides that garbage time touchdown he ran, perry comes in for 1 series, late in the 4th and you judging him, come on man, wake up, lol!

First off, imma tell u and everyone on this board: STOP THE “MOPING” RHETORIC WHEN CHIT IS BROUGHT UP THAT DON’T FIT YOUR “SUN WILL COME OUT TOMORROW” NARRATIVES!

The fact that I said our kicking game is better but other aspects have taken a step back is FACTS! So miss me w the constant Brian Pumper bull ****. I know wtf I see; we’ve improved in some areas and digressed in others. That’s a fair & honest assessment v. just saying our ST is legit. That’s not true. Our ST have IMPROVED in some areas and REGRESSED in others.

So much wasted movement in our D & no rhyme or reason. It's like a sceme a little kid would make on madden to amass sacks against the computer on easy mode. It's so simple to have a good D at Miami. Yet we make it so hard.
 
Can we at least wait until we lose a 2nd game, a game not against the #1 team in the country on the road, and aren’t ranked in the top 10 to make these type of threads? Nope, not on CIS. OP and his ilk want to get out ahead of things so they can come back and brag if we lose another game.

We have the worst fans in the country.

Unless we win 100-0, I’m sure there will be more of this nonsense cluttering up the board after we beat VT.
